3) By contrast, Americans reelected our majority in 2016 and expanded it in 2018 because we pledged to work with President Trump and support his agenda, particularly his outstanding appointments to the federal judiciary. Once again, we will keep our promise.

The management or lack of management of the forests is all wrong. There’s way too much fuel on the forest floor and in some cases over 50% mortality rate of all the trees standing that have been killed by migrating bark beetles. (thanks Canada)

Not enough prescribed burns, and too many “healthy” clearing forest fires have been put out because civilization has encroached deep into the forests.

I ventured through a gate that signified I was in a wilderness area. Trees had fallen across the road so to continue onward I had to walk into the forest to bypass the downed trees blocking the road. Trees were stacked (had fallen) one on top of the other on top of the other forming three layers of trees on the forest floor.

Equivalent to shaking boxes of straws or pencils out onto a floor haphazardly, until the entire floor is covered with materials.

A real powder keg.

Yes, I agree FRiend. At our cabins in the Sierras the forest floor was a mess. And without letting natural forest fires run their course, the giant sequoias couldn’t reproduce. Their seed pods are released with heat. Intense heat, like a fire.

A fox commentator just said they can only lose two votes in the Senate. They can go to 50/50, with Pence breaking the tie
