Reminds me of a story. Our principal had challenged all the classes. If 100% got perfect papers in spelling hed treat to ice cream. One of our special needs teachers prepared her kids spelling test for the week. Luck, buck, suck, duck, etc etc. They all got one hundred percent correct. The proncipal visited in disbelief. Teacher simply explained she built upon what they already knew. Apparently these leftist would have fit right into her special needs group.
He’s a great guy. I found out after the fact that he had been to my town and gave a very good opinion of the issue we’re having with our schools, many streets, etc., being named after Confederates and some people wanting to change them.

Just a reminder that Ruth Bader Ginsburg could have casually retired at 80 yrs old under Obama and been replaced by an ultra progressive in their 40s... but they chose not to.
It's not Republicans' or Trump's fault that they get the opportunity to push through a new justice.— Tim Young (@TimRunsHisMouth) September 19, 2020
Remember several of us here on the Train were watching live video day and night from the lobby of Trump Tower. We saw everyone who when in to visit Trump. As Peobody reminded me, Cruz was one who visited. And then our President was visited and it wasn’t any time his entire incoming administration was moved ...he knew then HE WAS BEING SPIED ON. And the MEDIA’S ugliness at that TIME too.
TRENTON —********************** President-elect Donald Trump is set to take his much-talked-about transition meetings to one of his New Jersey golf courses, according to reports.*****************
Trump, whose transition team has been centered recently at Trump Tower in Manhattan, will hold meetings at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster on Friday, team officials told the Washington Times.
NPR reported that Trump will begin Friday with meetings in New York City and then hold more in Bedminster. Politico reported that Trump will be at the course for the weekend.
The press office for the transition team did not respond to a message from NJ Advance Media seeking comment.
Trump’s team — which helps decide who serves in the president’s cabinet and in other government positions — *****************has been the subject of intense speculation in recent days amid reports of in-fighting and disarray.******************
Last week, Trump announced Vice President-elect Mike Pence was taking over as transition team leader from Gov. Chris Christie, who is now one of many vice-chairs. Experts said the move was clearly a demotion for the New Jersey governor.

The failing
nytimes
story is so totally wrong on transition. It is going so smoothly. Also, I have spoken to many foreign leaders.

For days, television cameras and political reporters have been camped out at Trump Tower — located on bustling Fifth Avenue — to see who is entering the building and thus might be considered for a job in Trump’s administration.
The Bedminster course, protected by a gate and a guard, is more secluded.
Trump, a real estate mogul and former Atlantic City casino tycoon, spends a lot of time at the 600-acre course. He held prep sessions there for the presidential debates against Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton.

Hmmm? Cruz is Hispanic/ Cuban roots. Has there been any other Hispanics on the Court?
Thanks.
Remember they spied on Ted Cruz too.
And if Justice John Roberts is the mystery John Roberts on the flight records of the Lolita Express, well, he may become even more irrelevant.
Yes, remember W had nominated a Miguel Estrada but the democrats blocked him, supposedly over abortion, but really because they wanted to be the party that put the first Hispanic in the Supreme Court. So they proudly put in Sotomayor, aka “wise Latina”, as first Hispanic.
I may have to turn in a Special Request to live past 100 just to shake that [BLEEP]s chain.
(Okay, I would enjoy dancing at the weddings of the great-grand daughters as well....)
PS- Just saw a note said Marshall suspended the twit.
Trump knows!
Oh yes. The one with type I diabetes. .... not a good choice for long life appointment!
Sotomayor.
BTW, I am enjoying your posts this morning about nominating the next possible SCJ.
Just had another thought. Obama appointments would be null and void if he was ever proven to have held the office illegally. Hmmmmm. That would leave one! Ol man _________
Two female U.S. Appeals Court judges are on President Donald Trumps short list of candidates to fill the Supreme Court vacancy opened up by the death on Friday of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a source said on Saturday.
Barbara Lagoa, a Cuban American, and Amy Coney Barrett, a conservative Catholic, were among the top contenders, the source said.
Both women were nominated to their current positions by Trump.
Lagoa, 52, a former Florida Supreme Court judge, was nominated by Trump to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in September of 2019.
Prior to that she spent less than a year on Floridas Supreme Court, where she was the first Latina judge. She previously spent more than a decade as a judge on an intermediate appeals court in Florida.
She was confirmed by the Senate in an 80-15 vote in November, as the Democrat-controlled House was holding impeachment proceedings against Trump. The bipartisan support that vote showed could make her the top candidate, one Republican donor who advises the White House said.

Another wise Latina!
