Up to 90 percent of people tested for COVID-19 in Massachusetts, New York and Nevada in July carried barely any traces of the virus and it could be because today's tests are 'too sensitive', experts say.
Health experts say PCR testing - the most widely used diagnostic test for COVID-19 in the US - are too sensitive and need to be adjusted to rule out people who have insignificant amounts of the virus in their systems because they're likely not contagious.
Today the PCR test, which provides a yes or no answer if a patient is infected, doesn't say how much of the virus a patient has in their body.
PCR tests analyze genetic matter from the virus in cycles and today's tests typically take 37 or 40 cycles, but experts say this is too high because it detects very small amounts of the virus that don't pose a risk.

The virus is real. It is unfortunate that some get. sry sick and die from it. The truth is some get very sick and die from all viruses/infectious diseases. The problem is shutting down our economy and isolating people behind masks and social distancing does nothing tto change that fact or the number of people that will eventually die of the disease. My great uncle, 94, in renal failure. He was refusing dialysis. He caught Covid and died. Both of these deaths are part of Massachusett’s official Covid case counts. But did they really die of Covid?
I know 10 other people who’ve had it. 9 had mild to no symptoms, one other was sick with a fever for 10 days but recovered. Never had to go to the hospital.

When I met with my financial planner this summer he insisted on doing it on zoom rather than in person because I work in a hospital. He informed me he had 5 covid widows in his practice. i the. asked him how many of those people would have loved out the year if they didn’t get covid. His answer? none of them. They were all dying of something else before they got covid
I personally know TWO people who have been hospitalized from Covid. Both survived. Both are elderly, obese, and one had a kidney transplant a year ago.
I know dozens of people who are out of work, have lost a business, or are in fear of losing their homes. This virus is real. Our fear of it has been manufactured. Bigger mistake ever in dealing with a global illness .

My wife had a friend who died and it was listed as a KungFlu death.
The woman had cancer and was on her last days at the time.
There is no doubt this is some nasty stuff but the numbers are not accurate.
Whether COVID is a primary or secondary cause of death is not significant. If the onset of the virus hastened death it is significant. Your conclusion that “the majority would have died this year “ anyway seems unsupported by any evidence.
Since co morbidity plays the primary role in the virus mortality it is quite obvious that morbiditities like diabetes, asthma, heart, etc do not guarantee death this year as you well know. And in fact many people with these chronic conditions live long old lives. Unless of course they get caught up with the COVID virus.

You are the one who doesn’t get it. 177,000 people died with covid antibodies... of those, the vast majority were over 80 years old and had an average of 2.5 life threatening co-morbiditys and a median age of 82 years old. Roughly 40%^ of those deaths were caused by 5 democratic governors moving their covid-19 patients into old folks homes. Whether this was done maliciously or negligently remains to be seen, but it is looking like those that died strictly from covid was less than 10k and the mask nonsense was done because that was what we did when the flu of 1918 ... wear masks and shelter in place. Also, the numbers were completely off on the totals of actual deaths because stats didn’t have uniform rules for reporting and tracking casees and deaths. Also there were false positives from the testing and the entire thing was highly politicized... overall deaths did not increase 177k from last year...
