I think an interesting socialist experiment would be to nationalize Amazon, Google, Twitter, all the megacorps with a monopoly on information, shut down all their privacy intrusions and political manipulations, and then immediately return to a free enterprise system. It might be a healthy thing to do. They’d become ossified government organizations, but new businesses could then crop up that would be competitive.
