Do Bezos (Washington Post) and others have a financial stake in promoting a lockdown?
The mind of the chief | 08/24/2020 | ChiefJayStrongbow

The lockdown is crushing small businesses as Amazon and the giant box stores, such as Walmart, Costco, Home Depot, etc. thrive.

The Washington Post and other news outlets seem to actively promote the need for a lockdown, but is it even necessary? Are scare tactics being used as a cudgel to wipe out small brick and mortar competition and fundamentally transform the way we conduct commerce?

Yes. Amazon gets more business and it’s in person store competitors lose business.

It is a conflict of interest.

Every store was closed with the exception of grocery stores, pharmacies, and Amazon, so, yeah, Bezos has a stake in the lockdown.

Bezos of course. You don’t even have to think about it. Look at the Visa Bill.

They’re anti American extremist leftists. That’s just how they think.

Bezo’s ex, Mackenzie Scott Bezos is giving billions of dollars to extremist leftist organizations.

Tucker suggested the same last night. For the news/msm, it’s also a democrat thing because they’re all dems.

Imagine living in another Western country dealing with lockdowns and coming to the realization that the main reason for the insanity is the US election. Would kind of piss you off.

Yes, to make sure that Amazon has a corporate Monopoly, and that no smaller business can even have a chance at existing.

Small businesses and small business jobs crushed with only jobs available being these part-time no-skill or low-skill, no benefit minimum wage jobs. Economic gains of generations crushed. Welcome back to the minimum wage subsistence economy.

And of course, Amazon’s brutal warehouse distribution jobs. Adult Diapers are mandatory. Most people don’t last a week.

I think an interesting socialist experiment would be to nationalize Amazon, Google, Twitter, all the megacorps with a monopoly on information, shut down all their privacy intrusions and political manipulations, and then immediately return to a free enterprise system. It might be a healthy thing to do. They’d become ossified government organizations, but new businesses could then crop up that would be competitive.
