I liked Kimberly’s speech. A bit high on the voice volume, but I liked her enthusiasm. I still don’t like the fake hair extensions.... but whatever.

Some powerful speeches at the convention kick-off. My two favorites: the cancer survivor and the Cuban American.
Kimberly rocked the house! What a gripping speech, for her! Loved the way she stood there after she closed, arms at her side and her hands! She looked armed and ready to pounce, I imagined.
I hope everyone had an opportunity to watch the RNC Day 1. There were MANY very powerful and effective speakers, including a physician who gave credit to President Trump for saving many lives, including his own, because of the highly expedited TREATMENTS the President pushed through--convalescent plasma and Remdesivir.
When the President's team lays out the entire Chinavirus timeline, including what the RATs were saying and doing along the way, I think he effectively makes the case, for any who will listen, that he did a damned good job. I just look forward to that moment when everyone rips of the masks and declares an end to panic.
As for the Pity Party, their disappointment is palpable that the Chinavirus is fading out and the President is warming up his victory speech.

I watched Kimberley’s speech again and I must say I came away even more impressed. Yes she was strong and forceful, it was a speech for a stadium not a conference room - but that is what this is, or should have been but for the China Virus. Some might mistake her passion for brashnss but on 2nd watching I picked up on the real emotion behind her words. It was a masterful political performance!

Her frozen pose at the end was equally dramatic and gave me the feeling that she had left it all on the field. Very well done!

The Chinavirus is real. It’s very rough on some people. That part is no hoax.
I’m sorry to hear about that family and hope they can get the best treatments. If it were me, or my family, I would go first for the HCQ and, if available, the plasma. Sadly, they may encounter obstacles. I have a business colleague whose sister has been on a vent for 2 weeks and I didn’t have the heart to ask about her treatments, as they are totally distraught. She’s in God’s hands now.
