But I got better.
Not sharing anything :)
i’ve had three friends with it. symptoms worsened up to the 7th day or so then got better. all of them under 35, 2 of them in great health, one quite overweight.
Nada.
Over this five months I know one person who got it.
2 college age nieces...weren’t ever sick.
I live on earth
Neighbor had it. Equivalent to a bad cold. He is 50’s, thin as a rail and generally healthy. Indiana. Full extent of my experience/exposure to it.
I have not, some family members have, a few co-workers have, many in my community have. Some were not sick at all, others were in dire shape but survived, but may deaths in my community. What’s the point of the survey? It’s real.
Wifes cousin died, 60s in Georgia around Atlanta
I work in hospital. E.Tenn, 5 deaths in house
Hospitalizations slowly treading down
My entire family very likely had the virus in January or February. We had the exact same symptoms consistent with China virus. The strangest part was that I could run on a treadmill for 5 miles without an issue, but if I tried to walk a flight of stairs I would have shortness of breath. We were over the virus within a couple of days and it was not a big deal.
I had it. Didn’t rise to the level of a bad cold. Low grade fever for a five days, headache and tired. Lost tase and smell and after almost two months it’s not back 100%. Almost. I had a very mild case.
One of my aunts had covid. I’m afraid I don’t know the details of her treatment, but I do know that she had some pre-existing conditions that made her vulnerable.
A former neighbor died of covid. Again, I don’t know the details, but he was fairly healthy before catching it. His wife and children were sick with it, but I haven’t heard anything more than that, and that was back in May.
I’m not sharing, get your own Covid!
Neighbor of a friend died. Ironically, he caught it at a funeral out of state. A guy at church (nurse) got it and was pretty sick. But I don’t know anyone personally who had it.
I now know quite a lot of people who have had it. I dont know their personal regimens, and some had it before it was known, the horrible flu worse than anything with severe head and body aches in January or so.
Three family members died of it in one week. All of them were over 90 and in extremely poor health, and all were in group homes, one was actually in the hospital after a fall, where she got it. All of my cousins agree that their time to die was appropriate but all have been devastated that their parents died alone in hospitals and they could not be there.
The younger people I know whove had it were in great fit shape and were very ill / in pain / fever / heat flashes / muscle aches / chills, but only for 4 days to a week. Most were back to work or working at home after their 2 week negative test.
I have known 7 year olds who were slightly ill during exposure time or illness time of their parents. Their symptoms were cold-like, with low fevers and some lethargy, just watching tv and resting. But for maybe also about a week.
That is my experience. I take all the preventative vitamins and minerals and wear masks in stores but I have not been terribly locked down. And so far so good. I got the sniffles yesterday and went to get a test, negative for covid.
I believe I had it in febuary,of course no-one was testing back then so no proof, but I certainly had the symptoms they describe today.I have had my brother and 3 of his children tested positive and had the symptoms in the past few weeks.Complained mostly of tiredness, loss of taste and smell. The hospital that confirmed all of them told them to go home, take aspirin and hide for 14 days.No other treatment was ever prescribed or used. They all including myself are fine today.
The question to ask is how many people here know someone who got the flu or have they themselves ever had the flu? I would say quite a lot would say yes. Me personally I’ve had it and I know someone who died from it. So why aren’t we being mandated to wear a mask and “social distance” over the flu?
Southwest Florida: No 11 fraudulent positives at testing center.
No of 1 married couple that had it. Fatique, sore throat. Lasted about 1 week. Someone in the husband’s business got it and he took it home to wife.
If you’re under 70,don’t live in a nursing home and don’t have certain underlying conditions (diabetes, lung disorders, weakened immune system) and you got the Wuhan Flu at all it was very probably no worse than the typical flu.
