WILSON, N.C. (WITN) - Police now say that a man wanted for the murder of a five-year-old is in custody.
Darius Sessoms, 25, was arrested by Wilson police and the U.S. Marshals’ Carolina Regional Fugitive Task Force.
Police say Sessoms was located inside a residence in Goldsboro.
He’s charged with 1st degree murder and is being held with no bond.

I used to drive to Wilson twice a week - sadly, a very depressed area with the textile industry having moved overseas a bunch of years before. Hard to believe that town still exists - just like all the small towns up and down I-95.

Bet the killing wasn’t “senseless” considering the number of drugs and weapons charges the perp has. Were mom and dad aware of those? Why did they allow the perp anywhere near their family...

Family members said Cannon Hinnant was playing outside his father's house when he was shot in the head. The boy's two sisters, ages 8 and 7, saw their brother get shot, according to Cannon's mother.

Yep, if the races were the reverse it would certainly be endlessly repeated national news and the mainstream media’s talk show commentators would be endlessly touting it as yet another symptom of “systematic racism”.
You won’t see race instigator Gayle King reporting this on CBS This Morning.

Tucker Carlson is probably the only one with the stones to report on something like this. If nothing else but to point out the two different standards.
And to think Wilson was one of the wealthiest cities in America per capita at one time.
In the olden days if something like this happened a section of the city would burn down, and (comment removed before the monitor sees it), but then it would be safe to be on the streets for years.
