A home belonging to celebrity cook Rachael Ray was reportedly on fire in upstate New York on Sunday night.
Fire crews were battling flames at the home in Lake Luzerne, as the Warren County Sheriffs Office told ABC10 the residence belonged to the television personality.
Images showed the flames shooting through the roof of the home.

Don’t know. Police told her that wax warmers were a common fire hazard and should be unplugged when unattended, not simply turned off.
I swear that woman can not cook. There are all kinds of Weinsteinesque rumors about how she got her show.
T.V. dinner must have overcooked in the microwave. Its easy to punch the hours button instead of minutes. Especially after too much cooking sherry.
Her career started in my area, she did cooking shows from the back of her station wagon, took out burners and did shows for local TV. Her personality contributed to 95% of her success, the other 5% was cooking talent.
If you ate every night stuff that she cooks, you would soon die of heart disease, EVOO or no EVOO..........
Read long ago that the major cause of house fires is candles................
It was probably a grease fire.....
Deliver us from EVOO.................
The rumors are about the big leap from that station wagon to having her own show on food tv. Kamala Harrisesque situation is the rumor.
oh
Good one
Only an idiot fries with EVOO. The heat drives off the aromatics making flavor contribution nil and OO has a very low flash point. On top of that you are using something that is very expensive and vastly inferior to an actual frying oil like grape seed or even canola. EVOO is a seasoned oil for dressing and seasoning, not for use in a hot pan. Wouldnt be a bit surprised if the fire started with low flash point EVOO in the kitchen. Like I said, the woman can’t cook.
Possibly, but my guess is unattended candles. ................ I had a log cabin home, I let a friend stay there. When they left they forgot about the candle on the pine coffee table. When I went back to the cabin, there was the wax, melted down on a nice wax crater with no wick left. Had the cabin caught fire it would have been consumed before help arrived. It was off season and north of Ray’s and across from Bernie’s. Fire was always my greatest fear when we were there. We had a cast iron wood stove in the LR to keep it warm.
Yes, I read years ago, before Internet, that unattended candles were the major cause of house fires.............
Smart people from Tx to Vietnam fry outside, and they do not use olive oil.
I hear “Rachel on the radio” on our local station.
Hey, a house I lived in almost burned because of wine, candles, guys and girls....
