Following an investigative report the paper of record has revealed that business owners who were stuck in the Capitol Hill Organised Protest arent so sure about abolishing the police. No sh*t Sherlock.
The New York Times has done something distinctly out of character and actually produced some decent journalism. Taking a break from getting editors sacked for allowing Republican senators to write op-eds and forcing out the few remaining sane people on their staff for not quaffing the identity politics Cool-Aid enthusiastically enough, they dispatched a reporter to Seattle to pick through the remnants of the CHOP, a month after it closed.
The Capital Hill Organised Protest, formally CHAZ (Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone), was the area of the city that, for 23 glorious days, declared independence from the United States. A bunch of Black Lives Matter and Antifa radicals hoofed out the police and decided to try and run the area as some sort of Marxist utopia. What they actually established was a gang run hellhole that made the Wild West look like Switzerland.

The land of soy milk and honey was disbanded on July 1 and was duly eulogised by the usual suspects as basically an extended block party. A month on, the NY Times finally got around to sending a reporter to speak to the people who lived and worked in the area before the protestors moved in and produced an admittedly excellent piece of reportage on the situation. It was headlined, Abolish the Police? Those Who Survived the Chaos in Seattle Arent So Sure. The piece, as journalist Michael Tracey observed on Twitter, would have been dismissed as right-wing propaganda just a month ago and shows that this little experiment in anarcho-communism was a million miles away from paradise.

What? The Summer of Love?
They changed it to chop from Chaz because Chaz was invented by an avowed pederast.
If people looked up its genesis they’d find the trust fund sicko anarchist behind it. Trust fund freak who calls himsrlf Hakim Bey, pseudo Muslim name.

These sh?ta$$ed media outlets have not awakened to anything except the fact that their cities are now banana republics run by lawless dictator mayors and governors in bed with deep state for MONEY and POWER. It has finally started to affect them.
C’mon to the BIG APPLE REVOLUTIONARIES. Lots of fun & WHITE PRIVILEGE. If you can make it there...
...start spreading the news...CUOMO PRIVILEGED. VERY WHITE PRIVILEGED those stale CRACKERS.
What an irritating word !
What's happened to all those familiar words like awake, awaken and waked up?
I guess I'm just not "woke"enough.
First they came for our guns, then they came for our words...next they'll come for me, LOL.
Leni
They “aren’t so sure”? Weasels at work.
“The Summer of Love?”
Will maternity ward admissions skyrocket eight months from now? Will kids be named funny names...”Chopster”, “Chazley”, “Dontknowyourdadsname”, “Smokey”, “Sovereign”, “Defund” or “PigsSuck”?
Has someone put leashes on FR’s Russophobe Brigade?
“Will they do the same with the Soviet Union? Or will the ghost of Walter Duranty haunt them if they do?”
Great point.
I like using the faggy designation.
“The New York Times has finally woken up to the fact that Seattles CHOP was a complete disaster - a month after it was disbanded”
A clue for the clueless.
Not sure, but libloather needed to be denounced for this horrible Russian propaganda.
I suspect I had better agree
Sad day when Russian news lecture the NYT ...
Antifa reminds of the radical communist Muslim Brotherhood elements within Al Qaeda that lead Bin Laden to protest and end up being killed by Obama to let ISIS flourish.
Although bLM is Maoist and communist China recuperated now, militating for 5g.
Walter Duranty is alive and well.
WOKEN ???? REALLY how about awakened!!
