Researchers in Germany published their research, finding that prolonged use of face masks, especially the N95 respirators considered to be among the most effective for limiting the spread of COVID-19, impairs the cardiopulmonary capacity, increases fatigue, and causes psychological discomfort when used for prolonged periods.
Oh, so thats why mask wearers are heroes. Its the sacrifice, for the common good. Comrades in arms.
Well, then, that’s why they want us to wear them! To be miserable, and, they think, vote for biden. The mask orders will expire right after the election, no matter who wins.

Masks seem to bring out existing psychological problems. If you have healthy lungs and an adequate hemoglobin levels, there shouldn’t be any problem wearing one as long as you aren’t trying to exercise in it and thus short changing yourself of oxygen.
Maybe the deep seated problem with masks is due to blanket suffocation as an infant.
And just as I’d become convinced that a mask was a miraculous cure for all diseases. I’m so disappointed. Do I need a sarc tag?
I work in a mask for close to 10 hours a day. It is agonizing the lack of fresh air, itchiness and heat let alone the proper pulmonary function. I think they do very little by the way. Distance and hygiene is the key. The mask think has become asinine and turned society inside out.
What does work requires telling Third World populations to stop engaging in Third World behaviors - so no politician will ever dare to do it.
In a sheet metal shop, the guys in the grinding room wear N95 masks 8 hours a day. Doesn’t seem to bother them. 3M spends millions on research when designing masks, as does the fedgov in certifying them. Same with paint respirators which are also heavy after an 8 hour day - btdt. Now all these homemade cloth masks are a different story.
Glasses fog up! I’ve tried the tricks and varieties to “stop” glasses from fogging, they still fog. It’s a weird feeling looking at things thru a vague mist.
Im Starting to wonder that for myself. The cardio and pulmonary. I have been feeling bad for a week and a half. My biggest fears were heart and lungs, and I really felt bad after a regular visit to the grocery store, which sent me back into tailspin I thought I was over.
Just wearin’ one for 10 minutes to get my stuff at Walmart makes my butt hurt.
I got the same at a Wal-Mart. I was forced to wear a mask. I used a fresh disposable one. Besides the normal fogged glasses, my sinuses blocked up after about 15 minutes. At about 20 minutes I started getting dizzy and wobbly kneed like I was about to pass out. I will never wear that type of mask again. It took days for my sinuses to clear up. If forced to wear a mask, I will wear my homemade cloth one. Otherwise, no mask.
It’s 110 damn degrees. Masks are useless. Karens eager to turn somebody in. More eager to piss off Karens.
40 million unemployed(the forgotten).
Tens of thousands of small businesses permanently closed. All for a lie.
Yeah it pisses me off but I don’t let it wreck my emotions.
BTW, if anyone’s still reading this thread, a friend of a friend was hospitalized. Her husband is a doctor. Hospital said it was Covid, husband said I don’t think so, keep testing. They balked but eventually complied and discovered it was Legionnaire’s disease. Wanna guess where she got it...from wearing a mask!!!!!
I went to church tonight, that is the place I have to wear a mask. I wore a blue medical mask, as I sat there feeling breathless I figured out how to move my chin just a little and free just the top of my nostrils and I could BREATH! So anyhow, I figured out how to manipulate the mask surreptitiously, up when I needed, down when no-one is looking. I came home and did it in the mirror and it really isn’t that obvious.
I remember Alyssa Milano wearing a crocheted mask and how everyone laughed but now I think I’ll make myself one. The fine for not wearing one is $400 dollars and the cops are enforcing but I haven’t seen any rules about the make of the mask.
Then I came home and read that Walmart, Home Depot and others have rescinded the rule that you have to wear a mask, so I guess I can shop there, I’ll just wear a mask to enter the store and put it back on when I exit.
