I go to a camp by Saranac Lake every year. Make the 9 hour drive from Maryland to the camp. With Cuomo's latest Order, my state is now restricted. Anyone in upstate New York see any enforcement of Cuomo's Executive Order? Half my family has bailed out of our family vacation, while I'm still holding out hope.
Report to the concentration camp, er, I mean the Quarantine Facility, immediately upon arrival............
You might be stopped on interstates but you’d surely have no issue if you cross the border on a back road.
It is time for you to follow the lead of half your family. You can’t even count on what is happening today to be the same tomorrow in NY. Find another way to spend your vacation time.
Let’s put it this way, ratting people out is a statewide pasttime.
Consider the fine, then ask yourself if you’re willing and able to pony up if somebody squeals.
How about NJ?
We have a friend, who needs to go back in mid August?
You need a good story...that you live in some Long Island neighborhood. Park your vehicle where the plates aren’t readily available. And act New Yorkish whenever possible.
bring donuts for the cops you’ll be fine
Well if you are a Cuomo no problem, everyone else then yea.
Enjoy, Saranac Lake is Beautiful this time of year.
The police refuse to touch the situation.
The local Karens are a source of info, too.
Where you’ll be issued your yellow star mask.
Tell them you are on your way to a peaceful protest. The KungFlu does not spread at a protest.
I live in New York. NY Dept of Health has set up tables at airport and bus station to get info and tell you to quarantine and perhaps take your name. I dont know for sure, but I havent flown.
I drive across the border several times to PA and NJ and there is no enforcement.
NY State and NY City are facing massive budget holes. NY State Sheriffs are not going to spend their time doing anything. Cuomo has zero resources to enforce his dictates. Its all political and media posturing.
what will local cops do if they see an out-of-state plate? Especially in a rural place like Franklin/Essex counties? probably very little. Just tell them you are quarantining at home.
Yes. Black flies.
Black Flies Matter.
I'm going to NJ from MD this weekend to visit mom. NJ just put MD on its bad list. Two nights, I don't expect to drive in around while there. If I do, I'll use her car.
I ran the earlier NJ blockade without issue.
You are probably safe unless some busybody tattles on you, though if you are running out of state plates you might get some scrutiny, I don't know if law enforcement is really paying attention. Nobody really seems to know or care much about it when I was there...
CAUGHT YOU, Solomon Tobias Jehosaphat Poindexter II!
