All in all, the 'moms' and 'dad' march in Portland last night can only be described as a March Of Shame. Not only did they not grab their 'kids' by the collar and march them home, they actively participated in the vandalism.
At first the march by 'moms' and 'dads' to 'protect' their innocent little kids from the big bad federal marshals looked promising for a peaceful night, until about 10:30 when the mom/dad group was suckered into marching around the block. This gave their blac bloc clad 'children' the time they needed to gather at the courthouse. The yoots started to pace the sidewalk impatiently as a stray mom or dad approached the courthouse for a lookie loo at the previous damage and grafitti. On the march, mothers and fathers were indoctrinated with chants of All Cops are Bastards, F. the police, Black Trans Lives Matter, and the insistent, Black Lives Matter. (Which seemed odd since this was a demonstration against marshalls and federal power, not a BLM event). Shocking only to some parents was the call to 'get behind the moms' and use them as human shields if teargas was used.
When the parent marchers returned, instead of placing themselves between the building and the delinquents that are their spawn, they just stood around for 90 minutes, either distracted with repetative chants, or watching their yoots pound on the building, and, again, bring up fence panels to block the doors. Some parents even helped. The yoots were alternately trying to pry the doors open and baracade them.
Items were thrown into the 'peep holes', smokebombs and fireworks were launched at the doors, running kicks, skateboards, sticks, pipes and fire extinguishers were used to attack weak points as others just stood against the wall and kicked. Plywood was torn off the fascia and a plate glass window, which they broke, to start their 'elk' bonfire which they insist on burning every night.
None of these yoots seemed to give one hoot to the possibility their parents would be teargassed. It appeared they wanted to provoke it.
Mommy and Daddy crowded on the courthouse porch to watch it all - even posed for pictures next to the battered doors and graffiti of 'drive the cops insane' and 'kill all cops' 'good cops are dead cops' 'stolen land' and helped with the zipties that were used to tie the fence panels together making them harder to move away from the doorway.
Pepperballs were deployed from inside the building and teargas was modestly deployed after the window sheathing was torn off and a firework tossed inside a 'peep' hole. Parents ran to the park and immediately complained about the 'brutality' of the marshals. The delinquents returned, along with a dozen or so 'moms' outfitted in helmets and gas masks (some of whom have been seen participating as rioters prior to this night). Moms stood to one side, more family pictures were taken, more vandalism encouraged and participated in. Approx midnight, two fires were set: against a door and on the side of the building. The fires brought out the marshals, who used generous amounts of pepper and tear gas to disburse the vandals.
A marshal nabbed one of the blac blok on the front porch area that was littered with over 200 water bottles (donated supplies btw) and slippery from the water. On the ground wrestling with the suspect, he was immediately lynched by 5 antifa, who grabbed the suspect from the marshal and attempted to take the marshal's sidearm. At this point a fellow marshal reached the fallen marshal and pulled his sidearm against the miscreants who were still in the process of attacking the fallen marshal. This backed them off, but gave the press the photo they needed of a marshal with a drawn gun, completely without context of course.
The marshals returned inside, after trying to barricade the broken picture window with a fence panel and a piece of plywood the rioters had placed against the doors. The vandals returned and started spraying paint, water, and who-knows-what thru the 'peep holes' and trying to break out the now-exposed glass on the picture window so they could throw items inside. The marshals released tear gas from a fire-extinguisher-caused hole in the 'picture window'. Gas-masked rioters placed a patio-sized umbrella against that window to unsuccessfully block the gas.
An hour or so later, a tree on the front sidewalk was set fire, the flames quickly reaching 5 feet up the trunk as trash was piled on. One person was assaulted for trying to kick the burning material away from the tree. (this fire was later extinguished by the riotribs guy, who feeds the rioters free) A trash fire started against the side of the building. The marshalls again appeared and cleared the area again, leading to the little CCP shield line at the corner as the rioters ran away but regrouped at the corner and began taunting the marshalls as 'cowards'.
About 3:30 someone took a broom and started sweeping up the water bottles on the courthouse porch. The rioters took this as a signal to throw these bottles against the building again and again.
One parent, obviously inebriated, was still pacing around and yelling at the building to 'apologize' at 3:30am. Going on and on about the trees will die and the wind will stop blowing if Trump is elected (he was teargassed as part of the vandal crowd). A 'medic' was observed wrapping gauze around the midsection of a young juvenile who had been brutally attacked by an adult drunk and was in obvious pain. No ambulance was called. Livestreamers were accosted and threatened and one punched for 'filming faces'. That, along with news roiters had robbed a jewelry store and set an awning fire, was the picture of Portland painted for America last night.
No one person in the crowd of over 1,000 seem intelligent enough to comprehend that a) the marshals have always been there, being it's a federal courthouse, b) the courthouse does not 'belong' to Oregon, c) large demonstrations, that go on for weeks, are a magnet for outside agitation and violence and the marshals are there to also protect the crowd from things like car bombs and pipe bombs and things that go boom. Portlanders would rather maim and kill the marshals.
Shameful hypocrites, in the main.
They will end up hurting a fed or worse.
Then things will get even more interesting really fast
Seattle’s mayor wants to follow suit; make Portland a sister city with Seattle. Wait. Hold it. Can’t use the sexist word sister. How about Zir? Portland will be Zir city with Seattle.

Portland is where progressives move to because Berkeley is too conservative.

How bad does it need to get before Oregon is declared to be a state of insurrection?
The state government is complicit in all this, so in my estimation that make OR a rebellious state.
At what point can the federal government suspend the constitutional rights of its citizens? Seems to me that this is where this may be headed. I believe this should be down sooner than later.

Portland does not represent the whole state of Oregon. Only a small part of this state is blue. Wish we could eliminate Portland from Oregon.

I was able, however, to pull up to 10 livestreams at one time, either via twitch.tv, woke.tv, facebook and/or twitter livestreams, so I was able to listen to commentary and see the events in real time as it happened and from different angles. And, in some cases, replay instantly, what I was observing before it was edited by the streamer.
I have a former neighbor who is a young EMS guy who was sent to the Washington DC riots as an Army National Guard member. His knee was seriously injured in the riots. He will undergo reconstructive surgery tomorrow.
I truly hate and despise the media who are pretending these riots are “mostly peaceful”. The rioters are criminal revolutionaries.
You should consider putting this out on other platforms. Maybe publish on “Medium”?
