Window Swap is an easy and ingenious way to travel all around the world, from the comfort of your own home. All you have to do is visit the Window Swap website and click on the Open a new window somewhere in the world button to instantly be transported in a strangers home in cities like London, Bangalore or Jakarta from the windows of whom you can admire the views they wake up to every day.
According to a description on its official website, Window Swap is here to fill that deep void in our wanderlust hearts by allowing us to look through someone elses window, somewhere in the world, for a while.
Apart from admiring views from over 15 cities around the world, visitor are encouraged to add their own windows and views to the pool. Uploaded videos have to be around 10 minutes long, be shot in HD and horizontally, and feature the uploaders first name and location for credits.

If participants included Aegean islands or the Amalfi coast of Italy, hey, I’d be using this right now.
Click on a road in GoogleEarth and you can “drive” down a road in many participating countries. A lot cheaper than traveling and no airport searches.
So, random? That’s okay, but there should be a way to select a city, otherwise this kinda sucks. May as well just save the Bing desktop image every day into the random wallpaper folder.

I got one that was in Japan. Not bad.
I don’t think these are live.
I just saw one that was Sao Poulo Brazil and it was late dusk, almost night. Should have been roughly 4pm there. Then I got one in Ukraine which was broad daylight. Not right.
Of course, you have to wonder about a man who spent all his time looking out his window when an attentive Grace Kelly is in the room with you.
