California is dying, I spoke with a good friend of ours who lives in Southern California for over thirty years and used to love it. However, she now says she is lonely and alone except for some true long time friends. Her grown two boys have moved from California into Arizona with the families, so her grand kids are many miles away!!! She does not believe a word the present governor utters and ditto for that fool Mayor of Los Angeles and other Mayors throughout California. Small businesses are dying, if not dead already. And she feels locked in and confined to her home for a reason no one has yet to give her that is Meaningful & True!!! She hates the Democrat Party, declaring, these low life buffoons have killed this great state!!!
As for New York, it's quite simple, even Democrats will grasp this and understand. New York City is dead....Cuomo & De Blasio have total killed the life of Broadway, no theater, no Radio City Music Hall, No tourists, hotels are empty, restaurants in midtown Manhattan have few customers, Chintown has died and so has Little Italy, The once great New York City Subway system has few passengers because of crime & it is the home for the homeless!!! The Governor & the Mayor have also killed the NYC Police Force, once the best police force in the entire world. I could go on & on, because life in the boroughs of The Bronx, Brooklyn, Staten Island & Queens in not safe, good or productive either and people with money are packing and leaving the city for Texas, Florida and other Southern states by the tens of thousands. The city has lost its magic, heart and soul and Mo Jo from two power hungry men that are more like Satan himself. SAD!!!
there is one hope for California & New York, although I think we will never see it happen. And that hope is that the voters of these two states politically destroy the entire Democrat Party. If not, you will some day only be reading what New York and California were like,because they will not exist as they once did!!! Your choice folks!!!
I can’t speak for California these days but New York is in a race to the bottom. People are leaving.... depending on what the Governor does with schools, there are going to be a lot of homes on the market at the end of the summer as folks are going to move elsewhere.
My advice to Freepers out there in the free world... please welcome your new neighbors and explain to them why things are so good in your neck of the woods. Most New Yorkers don’t know anything about the rest of America beyond the poisoning they receive from the local and national MSM.

Cuomo did say that we can’t risk children’s lives. Well it still doesn’t speak well after failing to protect the most vulnerable, the elderly.
I am a lifelong resident of South Carolina and I despair at what is happening to California, New York and some other places because they have made SC the state with the fourth highest inflow of people from other areas. They have already ruined the Grand Strand and will soon make this state just another hellhole.
When I was in boot camp in California in 1962 the guys from places like New York city seemed to feel sorry for me because I was from South Carolina. I wish it were that way now rather than to see what is in process which is the destruction of a wonderful place to live.
Forced by illegal diktats to go out of business, restaurants laid off hundreds of thousands of workers who were then forced onto welfare. And done people couldn’t get proper hot meals anymore as not everyone has cooking facilities and many have difficulty buying groceries due to restrictions at the markets. After many weeks of this crap, the politicians said they’d Finally let the diners open again if they’d install plastic dividers between tables and a bunch of other garbage. As if viruses can’t float around plastic panels! Ha ha! The virus got all the way here across the Pacific Ocean from communist china but none of them can make it around Little plastic panels in an open air room? —- anyway our local restaurant said they were on verge of bankruptcy and had to try it to hqve a chance of staying alive. So they ran up thousands of dollars in material and labor costs ( they’re last big investment, almost all had to be with borrowed funds) to get the required framing and plastic all installed. After inspection ( another charge) they were Finally permitted to reopen. Employees and customers were thrilled. About one week later, governor shut them all down again. No new reason, just more bullsheit scare talk about how the virus didn’t go away. Now the diner is going into bankruptcy. These damned politicians ( all DemocRATs at least so far as we know) who are destroying so many people’s lives work employment and businesses must must must be removed from power ASAP! they’re destroying millions of lives and frankly going this country more wanton damage than any foreign enemies have ever managed to inflict on us.
Fox News has devolved into a lite version of CNN, MSNBC, etc...and will stay in NYC with their commie “brothers-in-arms”.
Here in West Texas, I’m looking forward to Saturday as the forecast is for temperatures to drop DOWN to 100°. I’m a prisoner to the air conditioning.

Listen if the financial business (Wall Street) had any common sense, & a set of functioning brains they would move to Miami or Palm Beach, Florida immediately. The Broadway Theater etc. should also move out of NYC to West Pam Beach, Florida!!! WPB, Florida already has the magnificent Kravits Center in downtown WPB along with fantastic restaurants in the immediate theater area.
If these business sectors stay in New York, etc., The Democrats will tax them to death. the Tax base of the the city, NYC is dying quickly as an exodus is underway big time of meaningful tax payers. Wake up fools...opportunities exist, just none in New York State or New York City. Now if Trump wins re-election...which he will, The election in Alabama last evening and in Texas shows you all how wrong the polls are, Trump wins in a landslide, and if New York votes for Trump, the whole game for New York changes overnight. Trump loves and adores NYC and all it’s diversified people. He would turn it around overnight!!! Put your thinking caps on New Yorkers and you folks out there in failing California...your time to save these once great leading states is running out fast....Destroy the entire Democrat Party & Support and vote for POTUS, Donald J. Trump

Here in Eastern South Carolina the temp is only 95 but the humidity is 57 per cent which makes the heat index 108. I just opened the front door and it really does fell like opening the door on a hot oven. We have been averaging more than a normal month’s rainfall every week for quite a long time. An inch of rain is just a little shower now. The centipede lawn that used to be brown in July has to be mowed at least once every two weeks.
