Last week, Paul Brodeur, mayor of Melrose, Mass., apologized for a supposedly offensive traffic safety message and launched an investigation into it. He made a federal case about a police billboard reading “THE SAFETY OF ALL LIVES MATTER.” This simple statement expressing the importance of safety for everyone is purportedly offensive or racist or something because many respond to the “Black Lives Matter” movement with signs reading “All Lives Matter.”
“I have just been made aware that the following traffic sign is being displayed on Main Street,” Brodeur tweeted with a picture of the sign. “I have ordered that it be taken down immediately and am taking steps to find out how this happened. I apologize to the residents of Melrose.”
The mayor’s tweet went viral as conservatives drew attention to the idea that the message “all lives matter,” even in a clearly apolitical context, is considered too offensive.
“So…all lives *don’t* matter, Mr. Mayor?” Mark Dice tweeted.
Brodeur was right to think some citizens of Melrose would find the message offensive, however. At least two members of the City Council — Maya Jamaleddine and Jack Eccles — joined a small group of Black Lives Matter protesters at the location where the sign once stood, Patch reported.
Police Chief Mike Lyle insisted that the officer who wrote “all lives matter” did not do so with “malicious or political intent.” He launched an investigation into the “improper and unfortunate” sign.

When I saw that message, I started shaking and felt like sucking my thumb, which in itself was embarrassing. I am so triggered right now.
First of all, all lives don’t matter. Not in the context they are using it in
Do convicted child molesters lives matter? Did Hitler’s life matter? Stalin’s?
Yes they mattered in a horrible way to the ones they destroyed. And I’m sure Hitler and all his cronies matter to themselves.
But that’s not what these people are talking about. They are saying every human being should be cherished. That’s nice in a fantasy world. It’s not real.
They apologized? So that town don’t give two sh*ts about white, yellow or brown lives?

They should get rid of those stupid things anyway. We got too many damn signs on our roads, reading a freaking novel while you’re driving. My favorite they had up over the highway, big ol color LED screen “don’t drive distracted” well distracting me with you’re idiot @%^^&* signs!

Oh my God. This is outrageous. This is a crime against humanity to suggest that all lives matter. The audacity of someone to load that messaga into the machine!
Tucker Carlson did a segment on this last Friday. He also posted a picture of the mayor and said that any white people who were considering visiting Melrose might want to reconsider. Tucker mad him famous.
I'll try not to be distracted next time a mob of blood thirsty cultist surround my vehicle, smashing my windows while trying to drag me out into a crowd of savage violent misfits.
