Rivera rented a boat around 1 p.m., the department reported, and her son was found napping alone in the vessel three hours later. Rivera’s son said the pair had been swimming, but Rivera never returned, according to Capt. Eric Buschow. The boy was wearing a life vest and another adult life vest was found on the boat, he said.

Perhaps but she did put a life preserver on her son....so back off on the hellfire and brimstone a bit. She was deluded and is probably a lost soul. I fear suicide on her part not just drowning as an adult vest appears not to have been worn. The boy lost his mother but it appears she did try to ensure his safety.
Who wants to bet the kid had a blood stream full of Xanax. She probably meant to kill the kid and drown herself.

Questions to be asked (according to Nancy Grace on F&F this a.m.): Was anyone else on the boat with her? Anyone else there when she rented the boat? Location of ex-boyfriends, stalkers? Why would she leave her young son alone on the boat? Etc.

I am just SHOCKED, SHOCKED I tell you that this C-list has been actress apparently took her own life.
She got to keep a $100K ring and the $3.5 million dollar house. She could have sold the house, moved somewhere reasonable and lived fairly comfortably for some time. On top of that. She probably was getting child support from the actor father.
Sad for her child. I was not a fan of hers. Prayers for her family.
The article says the boy says they swam together but she never returned....not much other info to supply context and nuance. So details are missing but I do see the life preserver on the boy as a possible sign that the mom actually did love her son and wanted him to be safe. Unless the Holy Spirit reveals otherwise we have no other info as to what was going on.
100 percent true. This if true would be the second suicide from the show.
Yes, it’s excellent that she didn’t throw him off the boat without a PFD, which she easily could have done.
