My guess is that Naya is somewhere in the center of the earth in one of the hottest chambers that hell has to offer.

Perhaps but she did put a life preserver on her son....so back off on the hellfire and brimstone a bit. She was deluded and is probably a lost soul. I fear suicide on her part not just drowning as an adult vest appears not to have been worn. The boy lost his mother but it appears she did try to ensure his safety.
