SEATTLE (AP) - A 16-year-old boy was killed and and a younger teenager was wounded early Monday in Seattle's occupied protest zone - the second deadly shooting in the area that local officials have vowed to change after business complaints and criticism from President Donald Trump.
The violence that came just over a week after another shooting in the zone left one person dead and another wounded was dangerous and unacceptable" police Chief Carmen Best said.
Enough is enough, Best told reporters. We need to be able to get back into the area.
Demonstrators have occupied several blocks around the Seattle Police Departments East Precinct and a park for about two weeks after police abandoned the precinct following standoffs and clashes with protesters calling for racial justice and an end to police brutality.
Witnesses reported seeing a white Jeep SUV near one of the makeshift barriers around the protest zone about 3 a.m. Monday, just before the shooting, a police statement said.

One was 16, the other 14.
What are the odds the Jeep was stolen?
Dont black lives matter.....?
> We need to be able to get back into the area. <
Notice that Chief Best did NOT say We need to be able to take back the area.
“There is likely a large yard that they could camp in addition to being in the house.”
Big LOL!
I live in a rural area, lots are 3 acres more and less. Pasture land surrounds the area. One of our very good neighbors is very liberal.
When the Wuhan lockdown quarantine first came and had people in a panic, the neighbor flew her back East, big city, homeless, 40 year old nephew out to live with them.
I would hear complaints how lazy he was and not helpful around the house or yard.
One day they heard him on the phone inviting his fellow homeless to come out. “They have lots of room in the yard for tents”
They flew the guy right back East. I think that might be the equivalent of being mugged:)
Don’t black lives matter.....?
The police have said the two young black teens were "joyriding and street racing".
It sure sounds like a stolen car.
There is also considerable question whether any shots came from this Jeep Cherokee. Supposedly, the windows were rolled up, but I cannot confirm that.
She had her head up her butt from Day One
Has anyone else seen on the Twitter machine that 5,000 bikers are arriving at CHOP for a visit this weekend? No articles on the Interweb that I could find for a source.
4th of July might be interesting.
The mayor is responsible for the deaths.
“What goes through the mind of white protesters chanting “Black Lives Matter” while harassing a black police chief after she tries briefing public on a CHOP shooting that killed a black man and left a 14yo black youth critical a week after a 19yo black man was also killed in CHOP?” - Brandi Krause. Q13TV REPORTER
Talk is cheap. And that ineffective Chief there was bought and paid for on the cheap, also.
“...The mayor is responsible for the deaths....”
Yep. Directly responsible. She should be arrested. But libs NEVER take responsibility for anything. They always try to project it onto someone else they don’t like.
When your father gets home, you are going to get it.

“Pathetic piker”
(snivel)We need to be able to get back into the area.(whine)
Let the National Guard drive up on each of the streets that cross into the zone and emplace MUMVEEs with machine guns on them, Then move in infantry with M-16s and make obvious preparations to move in. Announce over bullhorns and on TV that there will be one open street for exit, open for 4 hours. Then all units move into the zone ahead of the police who are empowered to arrest and hold anyone they meet.
“this affirmative action police chief is weak and pathetic.”
wrong ... this police chief has consistently butted heads with mayor dumbass about shutting down the anarchy zone , but the mayor is her boss and she has no choice but to obey the mayor ...
I would classify them as NNBs (Non Narrative Blacks).
Very good point!
