Mostly third party access to content. Also the general stress and deceptions that come with thinking one to be bigger than one is. I am beginning to sense that broadcast media in its various forms causes and feeds a delusional public.

Not that I eschew it altogether. After all, here I am. But my eye is wary and my soul is weary.

Give them time. They're experiencing growing pains right now. I use Firefox and never have to retype my password in Parler, so I don't know what that's about. What I do know is this: Conservatives complain constantly about being banned and discriminated against in social media, and now that we have a growing alternative (all good things start small), some want to complain about that too. Seriously, give it time, let Parler work out the kinks. Even if you don't use it, join it to boost its numbers.

But in doing so, they spread his message to millions of other people to see his posts. It’s not his posts directly but the shares, follows, comments, etc. that make them go viral to many more people.

And they also post on Facebook - and all of those leftists who go on there commenting are posting that to all of their own friends, in effect advertising the message.

True. Verification is for those who need to protect their account and Twitter does much the same.

I was banned off twitter and had to give a phone number to get back on. So giving a phone number to parley was no big deal. Parley did not ask for DL or photo.
It’s time we stopped supporting these companies that give money to the evil in the world. They are salivating at our destruction. And we are helping them with our business. We will lose if this behavior does not end.

All of the above, especially the last paragraph. And until the news sites start putting a little “P” symbol, or something like the “F” or Bird symbol to make it easy to comment on the article, IMO, it’s not going to go anywhere.

That’s a good question. I use an ad blocker on most sites, and rarely see any. The problem with most sites today though is if you want access to their content, you have to turn it off...and I only do that for conservative news sites.

I joined it months ago although I don’t use it.
I added more followings last week but really got dissuaded from hanging out. I too use Firefox, agree, I have no idea why Parlor doesn’t trigger the “store password prompt” that every other website does.
Wanting a Conservative online area is something I can understand but if this one doesn’t catch on I will not be surprised. I don’t know if I even like the idea of separate but equal instead of internet conversation across the spectrum. There’s something sterile about the idea.
I have no ax to grind just reflecting my current thoughts.
I tried to develop a social.Quadverum habit too, didn’t work out.
