I've had an account on Parler for a year now but hardly go there. I just wanted to stake a spot there. Twitter is where I spent much of my time (when I'm not here). I've managed to collect 2,000 followers on Twitter without even working at it. If I did work at it, I have no doubt I could get up to 100K within about a year.
That is where the audience is. Trump has 82,000,000 followers there! Why would conservatives want to throw up a white flag and surrender such a massive media platform to the Left?

The article makes no such claim that you need to scan your license to sign up. The claim is that you need to do that in order to DM. See my next comment.
Actually that just sounds like it might be a prudent precaution. Just because it is conservative and given the reality with the fascist left out side needs to be more careful. Remember, we think people should show ID to vote to keep the left from cheating. So this does not hit me as being unfounded in itself. I will wait a little longer and hop[e that it goes well. An above poster said Dan B. was involved in this so that raises my trust level.
Just remember, anything that isn’t explicitly Right-Wing (as FR is), becomes Left-Wing over time.

They will spread the word which is why its growing so fast. It’s probably the hottest internet property around at the moment.
I already knew that they did drivers license scans for something. Do you know how? Because several days ago I went and read their FAQ. And they were answering questions about scanning drivers licenses. So there it was in there own documentation. Do you think they were just kidding?

You can’t search....on Parler....unless you have signed up/registered.
They want a phone #, and you can’t do a public search (like, for newsworthy people/issues), so, so far, I’ve not signed up.

I totally understand. I’m just saying for people who are signed up they can get their accounts verified with ID and it shows a gold P in your profile so people know its them and not some leftist impostor!
