What in the user agreement put you off? I’ve never joined any of the other social media sites, and joined Parler a few days ago. If you want to be verified you have to provide certain information. I’ve chosen not to be verified since I don’t even know enough about the site to provide any personal info, but it’s not mandatory anyway.
And we fall for it every time.

If your famous or its your business and your worried about people impersonating you then that’s when you need to get verified.
As joe says the average person does not need to be verified just carry on and enjoy the experience!
I can already send direct messages. I don’t need parler to do that. There is no way they’re getting a selfie and photo of drivers’ license from me. I’m never going to post anything that could lead to legal action.
I use it to follow PDJT and a few other sensible people whose posts are deleted from twatter/facebook/instagram.
Notice I put it in quotes. Just because you are not signed up to follow Trump on twitter does not meant that you can’t follow him by reading his posts. The word “follow” existed before Twitter. It has a real meaning. And a whole lot of people follow Trumps twitter comments without being members of twitter.
Been enjoying it...especially postings from Tommy Robinson, and other Brits, along with all the other well known folks. Still like FR best though. It's been my home for 20+ years.

I never Tweeted, have completely abandoned FaceBook, so Parler is my only vice (in that category, anyway).

I signed up to Parler as a show of support for Trump. I don’t regret that but I might not use it. I’ll check it out a few times more.
Correct. And millions of Trump haters respond to his every tweet with hate and vitriol. Those haters will be the first to follow Trump if he moves to Parler. They live to trash Trump. They can't trash Trump on Parler without signing up.
Of course tens of millions of Trump supporters on Twitter will move to Parler as well if Trump moves to Parler. It will be win win for Parler.

But regardless- Any forum that does not allow public view of its content. Content that can be linked to. Content that can be read by non-members. THEY ARE USELESS when it comes to changing public opinion. Even more than useless since it draws people away from a place where everyone can hear what they have to say.
On the contrary. Gab’s fanbase is attacking Parler and using that article. Gab is trying to counter Parler.
Do you know if Parler bans trolls/liberals to keep it conservative like FR or would that breach the free speech policy ?
