The book was so much better that I couldn’t really get into the movie.

“I still can’t figure out those three shells.”

The three shells are.....
I’ll let you figure it out on your own. Its science, but not rocket science.

Roddy Piper was great.
I remember when he was working for the Crockett family out of NC, long before he headed north to work for McMahon.
Ric Flair was the big draw in the Carolinas and Virginia at the time and the ultimate heel (bad guy). Piper came in and out heeled Flair for Flairs first “face turn” (going from bad guy to fan favorite “baby face”).

Dr Pepper was doing their I’m A Pepper ad at the time and Piper did an interview where he had some balloons and listed off some things he had done to Flair. Every time he checked something off the list he would pop a balloon. At the end he drew a breath and stopped for a second. He looked at the camera and said “I’m a Piper! Wouldn’t you like to be a Piper too Ric Flair?”.
It was both intense and hilarious at the saner time.

The movie was meant to criticize Reagan, but I guess we can appropriate it, because it fits us better than it did them. Classic leftist projection...

Unfortunately, John Carptenter was a lefty, and supposedly the “aliens” were represented by the republicans, especially President Reagan.

It was a great movie though... “I’m here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I’m all out of bubblegum!” Also, there was a Southpark episode called “Cripple-Fight” where Timmy and Jimmie had the exact fight choreography from the movie.

Yet another example of leftist projection.

He was a lot of fun in the wrestling ring. A natural Ham Actor and comic.

Apparently he was also a friend of jazz bassist extraordinaire Jeff Berlin. He had a part in Jeff Berlin's 1980s instructional video, and he hammed it up SO badly!
