The thread title needs to be exactly as the article’s title you post. Otherwise, you may as well post what is known as a “Vanity”. A Vanity is where can pose a general question or comment (with or without a link) and read responses.

The body of the article does not mention that he is replacing anyone, but rather taking over the job previously held by Kayleigh McEnany, who left the campaign earlier this year to join the administration as White House press secretary.
So we are talking about 2 different positions.

Read it again, carefully. McEnany left the campaign to move into the press secretary slot in the White House (where she is now skewering the press in briefings). Gidley is leaving the White House to fill her spot on the campaign.

Secondly, the article never even offers up the notion that Kayleigh McEnany, is being replaced. In fact, it explicitly states: Gidley’s new role was previously held by Kayleigh McEnany, who left the campaign earlier this year to join the administration as White House press secretary.

That being said...I saw a pic of her with her baby daughter at work. My first thought was I doubt she will stay after the election if she even makes it that long. Motherhood is a powerful draw.
