Back in the early part of the year, prior to the COVID-19 lockdowns, a lot of people, including the likes of Dr. Fauci and Anderson Cooper, told us we should be more worried about the seasonal flu than COVID-19.
Typically, around 55,000 Americans die every year from seasonal flu. There are all these websites out there tracking COVID-19 deaths. They tell us how many people died each day from COVID-19 in each State and each country. Currently over 122,000 people have supposedly died in America from COVID-19.
So are there another 55,000 people who died from the seasonal flu in addition to the 122,000 who supposedly from COVID-19? Are there any charts that can tell us? Is anyone keeping track? Is anyone even asking?
Well here is my guesstimate. I'd guess that the typical average of 55,000 Americans died of the flu this year. Another 30,000 elderly people died of natural causes, but their deaths were falsely recorded as being caused by COVID-19. And maybe another 40,000 actually died from COVID-19.
I'm not a doctor, and I'm open to someone completely disproving my guesstimate. Please, somebody, show me some hard data on seasonal flu deaths this year. Because I haven't heard one word about the seasonal flu, ever since the locKdowns began. AND I SMELL A RAT!
“Lets see how many are missing from ALL OTHER CAUSES than the Kung-Flu.”
Good idea.
The Covid-19 “pandemic” is a scam.
My guess is we haven't heard much flu talk because it dropped off with Coronavirus mitigation measures.
Absolutely.
It seems social distancing, better hygiene and mask wearing impact the spread of respiratory diseases.
Who knew?
Ask your State Department of Health. Ask the CDC. Follow the links on the websites. They publish the numbers.
If you have specific questions, file a FOIA at the state or federal level.
Most COVID-19 illness and deaths are Nursing Home and elderly related. You might ask for a breakdown of statistics by month for the past 6 years for Nursing Homes. They are just now coming in. The government moves slowly.
A state agency runs Medicaid in its state. Many in Nursing Homes are on Medicaid. You can ask for statistics for the past 6 years on them.
Ask intelligent, well thought out statistical questions. Not wife-beating questions.
Is there a common denominator between the flu and the Coronavirus so that tests are “mixed”?
How does the number of flu hospitalizations estimated so far this season compare with previous end-of-season hospitalization estimates?
The number of hospitalizations estimated so far this season is lower than end-of-season total hospitalization estimates for any season since CDC began making these estimates.
In other words, regular seasonal flu deaths are being counted as Kung-Flu deaths this year to make the "pandemic" scarier.
About 8239 “regular” “flu-only” deaths in 2020...a “flu season” is more like Oct.-March and total regular flu fatalities for the “season” are not estimated until a few months from now (only pediatric flu deaths are officially recorded by hospitals/doctors)...total regular flu deaths per season are CDC estimates. Reguar flu causes viral/bacteriological pneumonia (esp. in the elderly) so a portion of pneumonia deaths are due to the flu.

The numbers are not estimates. When a doctor, coroner, medical examiner, funeral home director or other person records a death and signs a death certificate they assign a cause of death. Sometimes the cause of death is listed as unknown. Sometimes the kinfolk or insurance company contradict the cause of death. This is most often true is suicide. Then there is a process to review the cause of death.
The reality is that many people who die have several things wrong with them at time of death and it is the combination of multiple factors, and no single factor, that causes death. But our system is set up to list the PRIMARY cause of death.
Besides suicide, Condition Acquired in the Medical Facility is the most often fictionalized. A person enters the hospital with a bullet or knife wound, acquires SEPSIS in the hospital and dies of sepsis. The death certificate lists the bullet or knife wound as the cause of death. That is the bias of the person filling out the form. Often times a low paid clerk fills out the form and the doctor hardly reads what he signs. (Some would say purposely does not read).
The statistics have flaws. But for most causes of death they are statistically reliable. The states collect the raw data from those who sign the death certificate (or their oranizaiton). The CDC then collects the data the state colected. On rare occaisions there is an error in the transmission of the data. It has been known that one file layout B has n lines of cause of death. file layout A is an old, obsolete layout that has n-1 lines. And the extra line is in the middle and all lines after that are off.
This happens rarely, but happens. Most of the time the error is caught. But if an error was not caught and fixed, how would we know...it wasn’t caught. It probably is not statistically significant.
Unaware bias is likely the biggest problem.
Or the same mitigation measures being taken against the corona virus are effective at reducing the spread of the flu.
Nope, the alleged flu deaths are nothing but estimates based on limited known cases.
They’ve been doing this for a while.
My sarcasm was directed at Dr. Fauci, not you.
In fact, I remember one article I read a month or two ago that claimed as of that point in early spring, there were a lot less pneumonia and flu deaths than normal... the implication being that many people that might have been in those classifications were swept up into the COVID count. After all, even George Floyd was found to have been infected in his autopsy.
Good job folks, I guess all that diet and exercise paid off, suddenly. Of course that scourge covid-19 it going to be credited with 150,000 to 200,000 deaths - of which maybe 20% are actually instances where covid-19 or complications arising from it was the *cause* of death. The rest of them might or might not have even had it.
It’s just another flu, Karen.

Follow the money; if someone passed from WuhanFlu, the hospital gets $.
Have you left your house lately, Karen?
Or are you still hiding under the bed?
I can assure you that if we tested as many people for flu as we do for COVID the numbers of cases/deaths would skyrocket.
u R a dick head
Havent had a mask on since this BS started
Run fish charters daily and the BS Gov screwed me up for a bit (now back to some what normal) and dont require any masks or any of that crap but tell the peeps, your option.
None do.
Now if you ID yourself(which you would not,no balls) and want to come aboard it would be ESAD
I was under the impression that you think the government shutdown was necessary.
If I am wrong we are in agreement and I apologize for my error.
If you do think it was necessary, YOU can ESAD.
