ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - A West Texas Doctor claims hes found the silver bullet for COVID-19, but the treatment is not currently approved by the FDA.
Dr. Richard Bartlett works at various clinics around West Texas, and says hes found a successful treatment for the coronavirus.
The treatment plan is inhaled, generic budesonide, Bartlett said. Using some generic antibiotics to protect from a secondary bacterial infection. Using zinc, which interferes with virus replication. Its common sense. Its intuitive.
Budesonide is a steroid, that can be inhaled directly to the lungs using a nebulizer.
The drug has been used for decades to treat asthma and is approved by the FDA. However using it to treat COVID-19 is not.
I am not aware of any doctors anywhere that are using this specifically for COVID-19, yet, Bartlett said.
Bartlett said he treats people as soon as they show symptoms.
Early treatment is better with this disease, he said. And Im having a 100% survival rate. I dont even know how many Ive treated...dozens. I have 14 that Im treating right now.
Bartlett said that patients tell him they feel immediate relief.
CBS7 asked local health authorities about Bartletts claims.
When we go look at a study, Odessa Regional Medical Center Chief Medical Officer Rohith Saravanan said, If they say oh five cases, all solved. Magic pill. Silver bullet, well thats not how science works. You take thousands and thousands of patients across multiple countries, multiple sites, you blind them, you control certain people, certain treatments. And then you compare the groups. Its not that hes doing something wrong. Hes sharing what he found could be useful to the scientific community.
Bartlett said hes currently writing a paper to submit to medical journals.

Trump was RIGHT again! Inhaled cure!
Sounds conceptually like the approach he brainstormed live with Birx during a WuFlu Task Force briefing.
The left went nuts saying he was irresponsible to suggest that "people inject disinfectant".
Trump was right.

Other steroids are already being used.
What all the steroids do is reduce excessive inflammation.
In the very early stages of Wuhan virus that - massive inflammation - is not the problem, and reaching that stage can be prevented by very early use of hydroxychloroquine with zinc.
Also maybe other steroids have less side effects than budesonide - runny or stuffy nose, sneezing; red, itchy, and watery eyes; fever, sore throat, cough; nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, loss of appetite; nosebleed; or headache, back pain.
Not all Wuhan virus treatments that are good, are best for every stage of the illness. Some are most helpful early while others are not best taken early because the symptom they are good at fighting is not a dominant symptom early on.
There is no one “silver bullet”.
Even hydroxychloroquine is not a silver bullet. If treatment does not arrive before - or not given to prevent the stage of - a cytokine storm, hydroxychlorquine will not quell it, but strong steroids can.

Dr Richard Bartlett ACWT Interview 7 2 20
Found this thread after coming across that video, and doing some searches on this doctor.
Bob, he talks in the interview linked in the replied-to post of successfully treating for COVID a woman who had two cancers active.
thanks for that link- looks though like a person would need a nebulizer- I have inhalers, but not nebulizer- He states that inhalers don’t get 90% of the medicine to where it needs to be- but that is worst case scenario- about 30% of the medicine from an inhaler makes it to lungs according to studies done IF done correctly- but still, nebulizer would be the best to use- as it gets a lot to the lungs-
thanks for that link- good info to have-
Ok, here’s the ACWT page on the interview with Dr. Bartlett:
https://americacanwetalk.org/dr-richard-bartlett-shares-covid-information/
And here’s a direct link to the paper:
https://americacanwetalk.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/ColumnByDrBartlettReCOVID-5.pdf
Now he talks a very convincing game. And he says he’s treated a whole bunch of folks. But there are only TWO patients in his paper!
So I’m very dubious of this without additional backup, given that.
I’m not too dubious about it because there are reports that corticosteriods are saving lives with the virus- FR had one article back awhile discussing it- and it makes sense that anti-inflamatories would likely work-
Just doing a quick online search for ‘Anti-Inflamatories for Covid’ and ‘coriticosteriods for covid’ shows a number of articles-
If nothing else- if a person got it, and has asthma medicines or COPD meds -budesonide etc- it would be worth a try if the problem started getting severe- some states won’t even give out HCQ until it’s way too late to do any good-
According to articles, Hospitals are givign out asthma meds to people having problems breathing- so many so infact that it’s feared there could be shortages for folks with asthma and COPD and such -
I dunno- not sure what the story is- it’s possible i suppose that all the people he’s given it to supposedly might have survived fine without it too- but sounds like some of his patients were experiencing breathing issues- who knows-
