The Washington Examiner reached out to EPM for comment. About two hours after publication, the company released a statement that said Rolfe was fired because she violated company policy.
"As an employer, it is imperative to maintain a safe environment for all employees. Melissa Rolfe's termination was a director result of her actions in the workplace and violation of company policy," the statement said. "While working with Melissa as she transitioned to a leave of absence granted by our organization, we discovered she violated company policy and created an uncomfortable working environment for many of our employees. As an HR director, she ultimately lost the confidence of her peers, leadership, and many employees who no longer felt comfortable engaging with her. We value diversity of thought and respect Melissa's personal views and the views of all employees; however, when those views create a hostile working environment, we must make difficult decisions."
The statement did not say what Rolfe did to violate company policy.
A couple of hours before Carlson's report, EPM shared a message about "diversity and equity" in the workplace.

She was an HR manager. Appeared to be taking a leave of absence . fired when she did something wrong.

"The stepmother of former Atlanta Police Department officer Garrett Rolfe has purportedly been fired from her job in the wake of Rolfe being charged in the death of Rayshard Brooks, Fox News Channel primetime host Tucker Carlson reported Thursday evening.
“Until today, [Rolfe’s stepmother] — her name is Melissa Rolfe — was the H.R. director at a place called Equity Prime Mortgage in Atlanta, Georgia, but today she was let go and she is no longer in that role” Carlson stated. “Apparently, she was fired and her only crime was being Officer Rolfe’s stepmother.”
The Fox News host continued: “According to sources familiar with the matter, who spoke to this program, Rolfe was promised that her job was safe, but today she was told, ‘We have to terminate our relationship with you.'”
“No other explanation was offered, and honestly, no other explanation was needed. It was obvious what happened,” Carlson added. “Rolfe has already been scrubbed from the company’s website, wiped away like the Bolsheviks did with those who lost favor with Joseph Stalin.”
Carlson’s report comes after Rolfe was charged Wednesday with murder in connection to the fatal shooting of Brooks.

I completely agree. With nearly half of the country wanting to burn it to the ground in some way or other, I don’t see how it survives as a 50-state entity.
Not over, just likely that we rapidly enter a messier portion of our second Civil War. That will get ugly for both sides. As one example, imagine them blockading more Interstates to be irritating as they like to do - and we join in to block those roads long-term. I'll bet the urban areas would get very hungry within days, while people who get things done could keep those roads closed for weeks. That will hurt many decent people, but it will also hurt 90% of the corrupt globalist thugs.

Yes, and I'd add leaderless, except for DJT who has at most a few dozen stalwarts standing with him. We are in very deep trouble and each one of us will be personally challenged to defend ourselves and families. It isn't a fight we're choosing but it's coming anyway. Just a thought; if suddenly tomorrow there were 535 less occupants in DeeCee, we'd be on our way to a constitutional restoration. These sick, twisted fossils who govern us need a deep cleaning.

If I read between the lines here, she probably defended the actions of her stepson. In the company’s view, this was tantamount to creating a “hostile work environment”.
