On Tuesday in Santa Ana, face mask supporters were pushed and mocked by foes who chanted, “Hey hey, ho ho, these masks have got to go.”

In Glendora, some of the people without face coverings were with relatives, and others were carrying masks in their pockets. But it wasn’t hard to find people who told me they didn’t buy into the argument that masks necessarily limit the spread of the coronavirus.
“It’s probably driven by political scare tactics,” said a 77-year-old retiree strolling with his wife, neither of them wearing masks. He added that he didn’t know anyone who has gotten COVID-19, but if reported cases are up, maybe it’s simply because there’s more testing rather than a worrisome surge.

And then I came upon Robin and her daughter Natasha, both maskless. Robin said she likes to breathe in the fresh air on a nice day, and they cover up in stores, as required. But they weren't sold on the usefulness of masks. Natasha said even the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has contradicted itself on the matter.
No question, there’s still a lot to learn about the virus, and opinions on masks have varied. But for the record, the CDC currently “recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.”

I have a family member who nearly got into a fistfight at Giant Eagle after a male vigilante Karen got in his face claiming his wife was not wearing her mask properly. He told this guy to mind his own business, the vigilante responded with a string of F-bombs, and the throwdown was on.
Needless to say none of us are shopping at Giant Eagle any longer.
People walking around outdoors, in a mask, more than 50 yards from any other human being, is one of the stupidest things I’ve ever seen. But I’m seeing it a lot these days.

Yesterdays Improved Policing Briefing. I looked for a photo of the press corp that was there, but could not fine one. Anyhow, none of them were face covered either.
They insist on teaching Darwin in schools (not that I don’t believe in evolution to a degree ) so why are they so opposed to natural selection?

I had this illusion before all of this nonsense that most of my neighbors were not brainless drones. These self-righteous mask wearers have been an eye opener.

I have never liked Giant Eagle, vastly overpriced... but the latest crap with COVID has sealed the deal... I will avoid it at all cost from now on.
Of course this is the same fools who say they plan to not allow you to have a single use plastic bags soon, so you can take all your food wrapped in single use plastic home.
Because masks are useless and retarded. They are nothing but a means of control and a symbol of your obedience.
Remember the propaganda that we needed to “flatten the curve” and the promise of “just give us two weeks”, and now it has turned into continuous nonsense.
This isn’t a State of Emergency when it is continuous. This is tyranny.

In other words, it's dehumanizing. Behind the mask we're not much more than automatons, we emit words but mostly stripped of emotions. Maybe that's how some people would like to see us? All sounds a bit Guardianish but there it is.
