Jason Chaffetz: Seattle leaders negotiating with 'domestic terrorists
Fox News ^ | 6/16/20 | Joshua Nelson

Fox News contributor Jason Chaffetz said on Tuesday that the Seattle protesters who occupied several blocks of public property, blocking the space from others, amount to “domestic terrorists.”

“I think what the people are doing there is not just protesting. It’s not peacefully assembling,” the former Utah representative told “Outnumbered Overtime.”

Chaffetz said that President Trump intervening in the protests is not warranted unless there is a federal level crime being committed. Chaffetz also said that addressing the Seattle protest should be solely within the purview of the local, county, and state jurisdictions of Washington.

“I think it’s intimidation and I see a long list of violations of the law that are going on there. But, I don't think that it is the role of the federal government nor it is the role of the president to intervene unless there is some federal crime that is occurring,” Chaffetz said.

Chaffetz reacted to the city of Seattle and protesters occupying the “Capitol Hill Organized Protest,” or CHOP, reaching an agreement that will remove temporary roadblocks and replace them with concrete barriers, Fox News has been told.

It’s like two wolves and a sheep negotiating on what should be for dinner.

Heard on local news that those plastic barriers were replaced with concrete ones.

Seattle leaders continue to give aid and comfort to the enemy.

But that’s what traitors do.

I am a bit surprised that commercial property owners have not started litigation against the city to get their property cleared of crazies.

Here is an example of what such litigation would look like (though this is a Maryland case):

More on the Baltimore case:

" . . . reaching an agreement that will remove temporary roadblocks and replace them with concrete barriers . . . "

Sounds like a distinction without a difference. I've seen some makeshift barriers and some red barriers that look like they are made out of hard plastic. So the City is going to help the illegal protesters fortify the area by donating sturdier concrete barriers?

How can this even be considered a "protest" if the City is aiding and abetting the protesters? They've already provided them with free Honey Bucket service.

They’re blocking access to public streets using weapons?

Um, where’s the FBI? Those are civil rights violations if not insurrection.

When the Bundy’s did it at Malheur it was an abandoned federal building, and they were trying to get them to let people USE the land, not lock it up.

That got LaVoy Finicum killed.

Where’s all the guys with guns this time?

Only on the Left.

So funny to me that BLM gets so happy when 1 person gets fired for some inane post or tweet BUT seem fine when large companies, who claim to support them have a SMALL percentage of the business minority workers. Like Google and Apple only have 3% of blacks as employees. Blacks are 13% of the country. Why are BLM happy with 3% job opportunities for blacks. These companies don’t really support BLM. They just talk big in support. These BLM and others are getting so TAKEN with these companies. These companies forfiet a few white conservatives and think they have placated the mob. Seems to work though.

Negotiation is not a term in the BLM handbook. It’s our way or the highway. If you don’t go along with the program, we’ll roll out the guillotines—Madam Defarge included.
