SEATTLE - It’s been nearly one week now since protesters took over a six-block stretch of Capitol Hill in a move to amplify the Black Lives Matter movement and push for police reform and defunding.
On Sunday, one of the busiest days at “CHOP,” or Capitol Hill Organized/Occupied Protest, the community and the intrigue both continued to grow with huge crowds showing up to check out the gathering that’s created national buzz.
For those who live nearby, “CHOP” is a new part of their daily lives.
“It’s been super peaceful,” said Lindsey Teschner. “Everyone has been really nice. They get quiet around 11 o’clock at night and I can sleep.”
Teschner lives just one block away from the intersection that’s hosted speakers, DJs and at times, live music.
“I walked through actually this morning. Was offered a face mask, hand sanitizer. A bunch of ‘hellos’ and ‘good mornings,’” she said.
“You are always going to get someone who will turn it into something that it’s not.”

Peaceful? Tell that to the owner of a biz in the zone that got broken into and set on fire. Then the mob came for him.

MSN and KOMO. Obviously their coverage will be favorable. They are not going to say the truth about the extortion, the threats, and the unlawful sequestration.
So the left loves this. The left is happy that violent street thugs seized property that they do not own, expelling the lawful residents and taking their belongings. The media isn’t going to say that this zone was actually welcomed by the democrat politicians. They will not let you know the source of income for the criminals.
They don’t mention that the normal people who lived or worked in that area are being detained unlawfully, and that they can’t sleep because of the noise.
Now that city leaders have shown that they will not try to stop, but will instead promote this sort of thing, there will be a lot more. Next in line will be the sharia crowd which has a long history of subjugating Christians.
It’s not over yet.
