Discovering the prehistoric monuments of Arabia
EurekAlert! ^ | CNRS

In contrast to the prehistoric remains of the Near East, the megalithic monuments of Arabia remain largely unknown. These monumental structures, made of dry stone walls, still hold many secrets in terms of their construction, function and chronology. An international collaboration (1) of scientists from France, Saudi Arabia and Italy (2), led by Olivia Munoz, a researcher at the CNRS, have discovered a 35-metre long triangular platform in the oasis of Dûmat al-Jandal (northern Saudi Arabia). Built in several phases from the 6th millennium BC, this exceptional monument was probably dedicated to ritual practices, some of which were probably funerary and commemorative. To arrive at these conclusions, scientists studied and dated the objects and human remains from deposits found in and around the platform - in the two side niches and also in nearby tombs. These discoveries, which appear in the journal Antiquity on June 9th, 2020, demonstrate a ritual use during Prehistory, and are a potentially symbolic imprint left by nomadic pastoralists in the landscape during this remote period.

It’s racist and they paid for Columbus’s voyage to America so he could enslave and slaughter the indigenous peoples. I demand they dig it up and replace it with a statue of MLK! (Hey, what’s a little rewriting of human history among friends, eh?) [/sarc]

6th millennium BC, interesting indeed. I am a proponent of Graham Hancock, Robert Schoch, etc. theories that have long posed that an advanced civilization(s) existed during the last Ice Age, roughly 12.8K to 11.6K years ago that then got wiped out by a global cataclysm (both Hancock and Schoch have differing views on how that advanced civilization end global cataclysmic wise but both agree that an advanced civilization(s) existed up to that point).

At any rate, as they keep digging, so to speak, they are going to find that civilization existed long before academia has long taught and postulated.

Muzzles were at the apex of the slave trade in Africa. Where are the descendants of black slaves transported to middle East, Turkish empire etc. Nowhere to be found because the muslims castrated the male’s. Waiting for protests to erupt at Saudi embassies etc. As if.

I wonder if it was the Flood?

>> 6th millennium BC

Babylonia was ~2 millennium BC.

This find has the potential to backdate the assumptions of “original” math.

Both posit that the ‘Flood’ was caused by the melt off of the glaciers due to a global cataclysm - Hancock, I believe, posits it was due to a comet impact(s) and Schoch posits due to solar/sun activity.

Short version:
Comet strike 100 years long predominately on the North American continent. Much evidence of this - Carolina Bays, Nebraska Freshwater Ponds, etc 10800BC. All mega fauna died off; Clovis peoples wiped out. Firestorms raged for over 100 years continent wide. Massive ice shards from the strikes on the glacier fell to the ground shattering and slicing everything for many miles.

Began the Younger Dryas Age - the coldest period on record; melting glaciers reformed. Ended 1000 years later with another strike; sea levels rose 400-700 feet wiping out everything - your Flood. Remains now buried under 100s of feet of muck and silt on continental shelves

There might be a shorter version. The Flood was God’s judgement on the earth. 🤗

Physical and geological evidence point to comet impact, not solar activity. Hancock and dozens of scientific papers point to it, Schlock is full of it, and himself.

What structures that remain - Saudis went through an Islamist religious period that all things which preceded Mohammad were destroyed using dynamite and bulldozers; non-koranic tapestries and writings burned

The Flood cause is what the shorter version post was about.

Even if a meteor or two caused the flood to cover the whole earth (sea shells high in the Himalayas) giving Noah a 100 year heads up to build that boat is something the ac academics don't want to contemplate.

Gobekli Teppe proves that quite nicely. Site dates to 12,000 years ago.

Actually, I think Noah had 120 years to build the ark. How God actually caused the Flood, I have no idea. He may have used meteors, and countless other means. I don’t have any ideas. I am just sure it happened, and I am convinced the reason for the Flood, was to kill off the Nephilim, something else, the academics don’t want to talk about. 😁 I have a feeling Noah suffered from PTSD. He saw the ante diluvian world, and then the post diluvian world. I think, to him, the new earth was unrecognizable. No wonder he drank. 😁😆
