WASHINGTON
The Minneapolis Police Department on Tuesday released personnel records for Derek Chauvin, the now-fired officer accused of killing George Floyd, a black man whose death has sparked protest nationwide.
The records provide some insight into Chauvins background, starting as a military police officer with the U.S. Army from September 1996 to February 1997 and again from September 1999 to May 2000.
However, the records included little detail about the at least 17 times that Chauvin was the subject of internal affairs investigations by the Minneapolis department.
Chauvin, who had worked with the department since October 2001, had been disciplined for only one incident during his tenure. It occurred in August 2007 in Longfellow, a neighborhood just south of downtown Minneapolis. Chauvin was accused of pulling a woman out of her car after stopping her for going 10 miles over the speed limit. The woman filed the complaint the next day.
Investigators found that Chauvin did not have to remove complainant from car and that he couldve conducted interview outside the vehicle. Further investigation showed that Chauvins squad car video camera was turned off during the course of the stop.

What;s this guy’s POLITICS??? Wouldn’t surprise me if he was PART of this COUP PLOT also!! Did SOROS pay him?? He looked like a ROBOT when he was killing George!
The guy is obviously nuts, a power crazed freak who was tolerated by a bad department. The current police chief is very weak, and the problem is that without a strong commanding officer, the troops can go wrong because the bully among them ends up ruling.
I have LEO friends and a lot of people don’t realize how important it is to have a good commanding officer. A bully cop can make life absolutely miserable for his fellow officers unless he is restrained by a commanding officer, and this guy obviously wasn’t and actually had never been held to account. But that’s the reason the other cops didn’t intervene: they were scared of him, and they knew they’d get no support from above.
I have a problem with this. Why is it okay for them to release this guy’s personnel record, yet when you’re trying a perp with priors, you’re not allowed to tell the jury what his other crimes are?
I think the DNC put the word out to the Governor, who passed it down to the mayor, to harrass a black man who was getting arrested. Turns out, Mr. Floyd died on them, so now the Democrats can spread their terror campaign nationwide.
This guy has been convicted 40 times without ever being arraigned or indicted.
With a black governor, a black mayor, and a black police chief?
You think somebody may have said something after the 6th one..."Hey! Does anybody see a problem with this guy, etc.?"
How about after a 'Baker's Dozen'? Huh??
That said, you have to love his wife, who didn't hesitate to see she has won the lottery in the coming 'Tell-All' book.
And I'm ashamed to say, I'd buy it.
Until they start talking about the Chinese fentanyl Floyd was doped up with, it’s worthless to read any of their fact-omitting cr@p.
In my sons department they just hired one like this thug. Total political hire as none of the officers, chief included wanted this guy but he has political pull. Hes 5ft nothing and had the little man complex, always running his mouth and wanting car chases and shoot outs and hes serious! The chief issued a new item to officers to carry on their belts which will quickly break a car window and can cut seat belts. Super trooper laughed said he would be shooting windows out if needed.
Since back from the academy he has used racist language to an officer in an inter-racial marriage, and got his ass chewed out for that by a sgt. and watch commander. Hes done several other screwups including nearly rolling his cruiser slowly turning it around! Its to the point the sgt on his shift sees him coming into work calls out his name and what are you going to f$@k up tonight! The chief, the captain, the Ltd, sargents and patrolman all know hes dangerous and want him removed but they are over ruled by politics.
You could check voter rolls.
“thats the reason the other cops didnt intervene: they were scared of him, and they knew theyd get no support from above.”
On the longer video of the incident, one of the other cops (Lane?) noted the victim’s distress and can be heard suggesting he be turned on his side to help him breathe.
Chauvin can be heard saying, ‘Nah, he stays right here like this.’
I suspect this may factor into why it’s taking so long to charge the other officers.
Lesser charges, perhaps even exoneration of 1 of them-— how is it even possible to announce that right now? Or ever in the future?
Anything less than M1 will send the ferals over the edge.
Any organization is as bad as the worst psycho they tolerate in their ranks.

I know we was a violent felon. But he was arrested, and then died, over a single counterfeit $20 which is not an imminent threat to life or limb, is it?
That’s a valid question.
OTOH, as soon as a cop gets arrested, 1000 perps will come out of the woodwork claiming they too were brutalized by this guy.
Releasing his record showing “only” 12 complaints & how they were handled can tamp down the bs.
That makes it all the more appalling that the police kept their knee on his neck when he passed out and then one of the officers told Mr. Kneecap he didn't have a pulse; and Mr. Kneecap kept his knee on the dying guy's neck for another two minutes.
On a 9-minute long unedited video taken by a bystander from 6 feet away, the whole time the guy's knee was on his neck... In front of witnesses.
Read the Probable Cause document charging the ex-policeman with 3rd degree murder and manslaughter.
Which was rather inconsiderate, considering the guy's girlfriend and kid were in the car.
So that cop was charge with murder 1 and he walked.
And then there's Mohammed Noor. Somali cop hired for outreach to the Somali community by a (literal, not insult) lesbian police chief.
There was a call from one of the high-end neighborhoods downtown by one of the lakes, from a woman reporting what sounded like a rape in progress.
She came down in her pajamas to meet the police cruiser.
In it was a rookie cop and the Somali (nobody else wanted to patrol with him, he was that bad, so the rookie got stuck with it.)
Noor fired his service weapon from INSIDE the police cruiser without warning, past his partner in the other seat, and hit the woman in the stomach, IIRC. She died later.
It took 8 or 9 MONTHS even to *arrest* him. And all kinds of unspeakable lies and spin about she had hit the police car without warning, making a loud noise which frightened the officer and made him believe they were under attack, yada yada.
He's now serving 12 1/2 years.
SO now, we have a case where a cop with (I've read as few as 10 and up to 17 or 18) prior complaints for excessive force, holds his knee on the neck of a guy on the ground in handcuffs.
The police start up their spin machine, like Harrison Ford on the Death Star ("negative, very dangerous situation here")...like the guy was a prior violent felon, was a danger to himself and others, violently resisting arrest...
And then the videos come out.
One is a store video of the guy sitting against the wall of a local store, cuffed with his hands behind his back, and the officers cordially but firmly raising him to his feet and walking him to the police cruiser.
And another video, uncut, unedited, 9 minutes long uninterrupted, taken by a bystander 6 feet away.
Mr. Kneecap has his knee on the guy's neck, while he's in cuffs and lying on his stomach on the ground, the whole time.
He keeps the knee there when the guy says he can't breathe, when he passes out, when a bystander self-identifies as a first responder and begs the cop to get off him and check for a pulse...
and for two solid minutes (on video, not an exaggeration) AFTER HIS FELLOW COP HOLDING THE GUY DOWN, TELLS MR. KNEECAP HE DOESN'T HAVE A PULSE.
On video from 6 feet away. With other live (white) witnesses.
That's not internet rumor. That's from the Probable Cause document charging the now-ex-policeman, whose bond has been set at $500,000.
Andrew McCarthy of National Review (former US prosecutor in SDNY) says the charge is right but they took too long to arrest, and that's what led to the riots.
And Rudy Guiliani (took out the Mob in NYC) said on TV they should go for murder 1.
For some reason, the bootlickers think it's a travesty of justice to charge the cop with Murder 3 (in Minnesota it requires "Depraved Indifference" not intent) and Manslaughter.
I think it'd be better to go for the sure conviction instead of risking letting him walk.
Very few if any Auntie Fascists have been detained or disciplined for pulling drivers from their vehicles this week and assaulting them with bricks and head kicks.
F-The Left.
What are JBT lickers?
