“Black community used as pawns?”
No different than the serfs in 1917. It’s too bad they don’t know much about history.

Every member of Homeland Security Investigations (a branch of ICE) in Washington D.C. was just sent an alert to "assist other federal, state and local law enforcement agencies as need," according to an email obtained by the Times. The severity of the alert was labeled "high."

Cuomo warns protests could spark coronavirus comeback in New York
The demonstrations that have rocked New York City and other cities in the wake of the death of George Floyd could potentially be infecting hundreds and hundreds of people, after everything that we have done," the governor said.
"We have to take a minute and ask ourselves, what are we doing here? he asked.

“Multiple sources in the admin have now told me that Barr is the one leading the charge on stopping the riots.”
Good. AG Barr is not going to be playing bagpipes while DC burns.

Assange too ill to attend court hearing via video link
https://www.rte.ie/news/uk/2020/0601/1144782-julian-assange/
EXCERPT:
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was said to be too ill to attend the latest court hearing in his extradition case.
Assange, 48, is wanted in the US to face 17 charges under the Espionage Act and conspiracy to commit computer intrusion after the publication of hundreds of thousands of classified documents in 2010 and 2011.
He is currently being held in Londons maximum-security Belmarsh prison while the court system tries to reschedule his extradition hearing, which was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
A brief hearing at Westminster Magistrates Court this morning was barely audible over a telephone link available for journalists to listen in to proceedings.

He’s bringing in special ops riot police into DC tonight. We’ll see.
Just imagine if it was Jeff Sessions (who is a good man, just weak imo).

To respond to the Washington, DC street violence amid the protests, “we’re going to do something that people haven’t seen before,” @POTUS told governors during today’s conference call.

The mayor of DC had a curfew of 11pm. Things near the White House seemed rather calm until a little after 10. The curfew needs to be earlier. The crowds I saw on TV looked more young people who had been on lock down for 10 weeks out enjoying a summer evening and being with other young people until 10.
the lock down needs to be ended. No bars. No restaurants. No playgrounds. No gyms. No pools. No gatherings of any kind. What could go wrong.

CB..this is my squirrel stopper. And it really works. They sometimes try climbing the staff and they start sliding as they approach under the bell area. And notice the distance from the Pin Oak branches. Its location on the outer rim of the limbs so squirrels can't jump from any limbs. The doves and bigger birds use the feeder on the left. I try to have seed on the large rim. I'd like to trim my Oak Leaf Hydrangea but fail to do so maybe I'll remember this year....birds love to be inside of it especially during rains.
