Most Freepers are religious. Almost all of those religions/denominations, when they interpret the Bible, call for at least Christian fellowship. For Catholics and Anglicans communion with God is a public event.
The point is that the atheist left has found something, a lockdown, that weakens faith. Individuals may say that their faith is as strong now as it was before Coronavirus. But in aggregate this is terrible for the faithful. The reason is that, in many cases, their own religious leaders are saying the benefit that God provides by having people get together at Church/Mass are being outweighed by protecting people from a stupid Wuhan Flu. If religious leaders think so little of church attendance then many will either fall away or fail to join.
In ancient Roman times Christian leaders were very willing to expose Christians to possible death by worshipping God. Where are the Christian leaders willing to do the same now?

Mortality therefore at least double what they reported. Study participants self-selected, those with symptoms more likely to decide to be tested.

Or not. If the test produces 50% false positives, how was that then determined? Was a more accurate test applied? What is the “gold standard” for determining the test accurately reflects reality?
His reporting the number of deaths with the graphic he uses demonstrates (to me) that it really is not about the deaths - it's about him being right. The deaths are just a means to an end in that goal of being right.
The real number with immunity isn’t determined by one study...why no go with the number of new cases/deaths getting lower every day? This implies an R value that is less than 1 even as social distancing goes away. This likely can only happen if there are many with antibodies.
Good points. I’d say our faith in the Lord might not have been weakened, but our trust in church leadership - the little trust that was left - has been utterly destroyed.

The puzzle of Romans 13 is that it was written in a high time of Christian martyrdom.
WRT Romans 13 - people have different views about what submission to authorities means but it seems that the Christians at that time had a view of submitting to God over authorities because much of what they did was in defiance of authorities.
And in the USA the people who need to urgently submit to authorities are the elected leaders who need to submit to the constitution.
