Have you run into any COVID busybodies? I'd love to hear your stories and personal experiences. Post them here!
Considering I have RA, degenerative discs, nerve damage to both thighs, and CVI on both lower legs and feet that causes edema which make walking very painful, then yes I do try to shorten the time it takes me to shop when possible.
I wouldn’t wear a mask even if I could.
I don’t care if people are wearing masks or not. I don’t care if they go the wrong way or not. It seems that most people here don’t care either. No one has ever liked people that block aisles.
Last week my town got the first confirmed case in my county.
I think one way rules are dumb. If you pass somebody in the store briefly in an aisle, you won’t likely get it from him, and if you’re wearing a mask, he won’t likely get it from you. Period.
It is insane!
Right?
Or prior to that when our co workers were out sick. Or half of our students with something other than the flu.
One of my daughter’s got sick right New Years, sometime in January. Sick for two months (she’s 27), fever, chronic cough, etc. Tested negative for the flu. On Antibiotics, bronchitis cough meds, etc. She’d never been so sick. Coughed so much she threw up. For weeks. Whatever she had, it wasn’t the flu since she tested negative.
Existing not living. I can’t. I don’t want to live like that. That’s not living. What disease requires families not to see each other for months? What disease requires Sacraments not to be administered for months? What disease requires weddings, funerals, First Communions, Graduations, not to happen? Families not having get togethers because we go over the 10 or whatever number chosen because the virus stops at 10?
But it’s ok to go to the grocery store or walmart? With strangers.
It doesn’t make any damn sense. IMO
Sucks standing in line for the gestapo, especially if you are ill.

My county requires masks inside all businesses. I hope they get sued into bankruptcy later when people claim health issues related to wearing masks. I really do wish this happens.
There are a bunch of other crazy rules they have.
There will have to be a massive deprogramming of people when this is all done.
Trump should have done dropped down the hammer down months ago on the idiots that run my state and county.
Trump can’t admit he bought into a hoax and all of this is on him. He sent out postcards about this months ago. I got one. It includes avoiding discretionary travel, avoid social gatherings of 10 or more people, work or study from home, and avoid eating at bars and restaurants.
That’s right. Last summer/fall, it was all about the vaping! glass lungs and stuff.
My youngest had a blood clot in her leg that broke apart and resulted in PEs in both lungs. She was hospitalized, thanksgiving week. It was awful but most of the doctors were concerned about vaping (she hadn’t). It was OBC that caused the blood clot. They did genetic testing since she has 3 sisters, and one trying to get pregnant and another one soon.
Genetic testing showed no genetics so it was determined probably the OBC she was taking.
But the doctors at the hospital were very concerned about if she vaped.
Lordy, that must have been tough......hope all is well now.
It was and it is ok now (but lung issues, yeah with this virus, lol, it never ends). But thanks for mentioning the vaping craze. Vaping was the huge big thing last year, along with the opioid epidemic/crisis.
Apparently, the vaping crisis and opioid crisis and the homeless crisis are all fine now with the COVID or as I call it the China Virus crisis.
These crises never end.
The one way aisles are really stupid. Whats the difference if:
A. You and another person are going in the same direction, that person stops to put something in his cart, and you pass him.
B. You and another person are going in opposite directions and pass each other.
Either way you are adjacent to the other shopper for a fraction of a second.
It is vastly different than playing an hour-long game of Twister with another person.
I never get sick for more than a day or so but in Early January I had a nasty flu-like case. A relative of mine reported had a bad case and went to the doctor, but tested negative. They work in HigherEd and reported numerous students and staff sick shortly after Thanksgiving all the way into early January. Many of the staff who went to the Dr all tested negative for flu but had many of the CCPVirus symptoms.
I had a relative pass over the winter and the cemetery won’t dig graves until spring. Well, the town said no more than 10 ppl at the burial, including the clergy and funeral staff. We ignored that and “accidentally” showed up to visit the graves of several other relatives in the same cemetery at the same time. Strange how that happened.
I haven’t worn a mask except the one time I went for an xray at the local testing facility that required it. No one has ever said a word to me. But then I’m not real ‘approachable’ to start with. lol

That’s funny!! Lol! People are such sheep.
