My point was that they were texting while driving.

Not good for anyone's health who is near them on the road.

I used to wear a mask. Now I don’t. I’m high risk and recovering from a heart attack and quad bypass in February.

All the mask does is reduce the rate of exposure. Which is important with Covid-19 IMO. After 3 weeks of mask wearing the inoculation is complete. Antibodies will deal with it from then on.

Nope.

But I have noticed a lot of people don’t follow the arrows at Walmart. I do try but if no one else is on that aisle I will go the wrong way if what I need is closer to the end
I am already near. One aisle was blocked by a woman in a cart and what I needed was at the other end anyways so I went up the wrong way. She was still blocking it after I got what I needed.

It also doesn’t help that they put the arrows down wrong in the grocery section.

On the right side is the grocery section. All the way to the back is the pet section, cleaning supplies, paper products ect. The milk is on the outside wall. The first aisle is the chips and booze. The end cap is the eggs. Most people enter it from the milk/egg side and not the main aisle. So of course they put the green enter arrow at the wrong end and this messes everyone up from their normal shopping habits.

The Moody Blues Lyrics

“Late Lament”

Breathe deep the gathering gloom,
Watch lights fade from every room.
Bedsitter people look back and lament,
Another day’s useless energy spent.
Impassioned lovers wrestle as one,
Lonely man cries for love and has none.
New mother picks up and suckles her son,
Senior citizens wish they were young.
Cold hearted orb that rules the night,
Removes the colours from our sight.
Red is grey and yellow white.
But we decide which is right.
And which is an illusion?

Deep down inside ... didn't you want to be corrected in order to prove your point? You can take it as an affirmation, if you like.

I call myself "Dr. Sivana" after the mad scientist comic book villain. However, he always used perfect grammar.

I give up. Make fun of those of us that need to wear a mask all you want if it makes you feel better. No way people here are capable of ruining my day.

Had a Karen ask if I saw the arrows.
Hell lady I didn’t even see the Indians.
She obviously did not see the humor.

I don’t wear a mask in a grocery store. So far no one has had the stones to say anything to me.

Same here - people really don't tend to wear masks around here. Well, maybe about 20% in the store, but that's all.

My attempt to get a haircut the other day was a little different. That woman was panicked that I dared to walk in the front door without a mask. Needless to say, I did not get a haircut.

People in communist China routinely wear masks. This is the United States of America - I will NOT be forced to wear anything like that.

The tough part is going to be next week when I'm visiting my sister and bro in law for a few days. My nephew's wife is a die-hard liberal, Trump-hating Karen. I'm just going to try to get along and that's it.

If you’re going go naked do you have to wear a condom?

I in no way made fun of you. I told you I tried wearing one. But if playing a victim makes you feel better, go for it.

Zero deaths in my county.
Wanted to stimulate the economy at our local Ross store today.
Sign on the door said masks required.
So I will stimulate the economy else where.
Arizona has been mask optional the whole time.
Yet 50% still wear masks.
And the rest of us get ugly glares.

This is very rural but it sits right on the major north-south highway that divides the Florida peninsula in half. Starts up in Georgia and runs south through the state to Orlando-Tampa area. I could tell this lady was local probably from Gainesville where he liberal college is located.

We have the Karens on our NextDoor app too in my area of north Texas and also on the city’s Facebook group. If I posted what I really feel they would probably throw me out.

Wonderful, thoughtful post.

I’m in South Jersey (not North Jersey lol) and so many here are insane with the mask wearing/social distancing and our area has had so few cases.

One of my daughter’s is a BSN RN at Penn in philly and hours have been cut for doctors, nurses, techs, etc. It’s insane. Hospitals in philly and south jersey were empty! Her hospital finally started allowing elective surgeries BEFORE the gov of PA allowed them. She’s only suffered through a few days of reduced or cancelled hours but many of their doctors can’t say the same. A friend works at Cooper in Camden and for the last two months, the ER and most of the hospital has been empty.

My daughter has worked with COVID patients, too. Sure, there are some in the ICU, some in the C-T floor. Nothing like what was expected here.No surge in two weeks, then another two weeks, then another...

Another friend’s daughter, nurse at Cooper, just got over COVID. Contacted it from a patient she did CPR on and is cleared to go back to work. She was sick for about 5 days but had to stay out two weeks.

“You have no worse chance of dying of covid-19 than you do from the seasonal flu. If you weren’t wearing a mask before the democrats told you to, then you shouldn’t be wearing one now. It’s part of the problem, not of the solution.”

Well said.

I was surprised when I visited my doctor yesterday.

No one was wearing masks, including the nurse and my doctor. Luckily, my doctor is very casual and is like a good friend.
