Its just the flu, bro.
Oregon courts have done the same as Wisconsin courts and struck down their stay at home order.
Texas has permitted more businesses to open - but it is not enough as restrictions have been put in place.
CV cases have just plummeted in some states, especially NJ.
I worry about kids sports...many are still shut down. Sport builds childrens character and help make them healthy. It is maddening that restrictions on those havent been eliminated.
Are there any Catholic Churches in the US that have removed masks and social distancing?
:: God grants you the right to choose to murder someone, ::
If you want to find out if God grants you the ability to choose to do something, try to do it. If you are successful, he has granted you the ability to choose to do it.
This just speaks to the concept that men are free to choose to sin.
I wear. mask at work because I need the job right now. Im too close to retirement to change employers right now and I dont know if any hospitals not enforcing the mask rule. I do not wear a mask outside work u less absolutely necessary (picking up prescriptions at my pharmacy, etc). I do my best to patronize places that do not require the politically correct snot rag hanging off ones face. More and more the people I talk to in health care are over the hysteria except a notable few snowflakes. The general public is either a bit more scared or cowed as the mask percentage in my grocery store unfortunately is rising. I am hoping this goes away with a whimper and does not lead to a violent showdown somewhere. I was encouraged by the police response at the new jersey gym yesterday
‘ll make one response.

It is untrue.

As Businesses Reopen, Lawsuits Loom Over COVID-19 Exposure

$$ makes decisions, shapes future to protect $$
I seem to remember a helpful little tidbit from God on point to this
Thou shall not kill
I think its elegant in its simplicity
You suppose the prez laid out to him his potential exposure on things like oh I dont know
Funding wuhan lab
Invested in vaccine companies
His failure to produce HIV vaccine
I suppose personally that if you are the boss you can disagree behind closed sores but you sing from the same sheet of music in public. The Fairchild seems to have thought himself the decider. He thought wrong.
I worry about my son’s job. He is a football coach at a small Baptist school. No football means no students and no university.
One has to have the right kind of head for it to be one of the cool people. I finally broke down and shaved mine. Unfortunately, I am not one of the cool people.
Last public appearance that I can find was his Senate testimony where he was asked about none of those things.
Appeared at Trump’s last presser, silent, wearing the world’s largest mask. A snarky signal to the press that he’s been muzzled, no doubt.
Were he to challenge Trump’s use of HCQ Trump would be forced to trot his own doctor out to defend it. Which would open the floodgates for Trump to start adding many doctors to his team who don’t agree with Fauci.
Two problems with Covid lawsuits from the plaintiff's perspective:
(1) How does one prove how and where they contracted the virus? They can't.
(2) People know the virus is out there, so if they willingly go out to a grocery store, Walmart or wherever they are assuming the risk they will come in contact with it.
You can bet the defense lawyers for the insurance companies would be fighting these cases tooth and nail. Personal injury lawyers do not take on cases that are difficult or impossible to win or settle and these cases would be very difficult or impossible to win or settle.
Yup. They troll for cases where the defendant is in a very weak position so they can push them for a quick settlement.
Been awhile since I’ve done a Michigan vs Sweden comparison. Picked those two because they both have a population of 10 million.
Sweden went with the people are intelligent enough and have the right to make their own decisions, Michigan, illegal to touch someone else’s tennis balls.
Michigan: (Cases 51,915) (Deaths 4,915) (CasesM 5,198) (DeathsM 492)
Sweden: (Cases 30,799) (Deaths 3,743) (CasesM 3,052) (DeathsM 371)

The cynic in me suggests that part of the reason for Sweden’s course is the nightmare that enforcement would be if a particular segment of their population decided not to follow a mandate to wear masks.
Video to watch before Youtube censors it...
I live in a Big 10 campus town. Both the campus and private companies have been building new dorms and mega apartment buildings non stop for the last 10 years. If the students don't come back for the fall in big numbers, there are going to be big problems..
This states that God created sin.
I’m in the exact same situation and even tho I’ll take a real estate hit, I’m praying the university collapses.
Good Doc. States what most logically thinking know.
There’s a new thread on FR about the Oxford Vaccine and how it may not provide the “gold standard” in immunization. That is, once vaccinated, always vaccinated.
https://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3846531/posts
So let’s say a vaccine shot for the rona is no more effective than your run-of-mill vanilla “it’s just the flu, bro” yearly vaccine. Will our fearbro friends demand continued lockdowns until a “gold standard” vaccine is found? Or will they say, “Well, it’s just the rona...” and come out for their yearly shots?
