Two men who allegedly refused to wear masks inside a Target store in California are facing felony battery charges after a fight that left an employee security guard with a broken arm, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The suspects were not wearing face coverings when they entered the store's Van Nuys location on May 1, and were confronted by store employees, police said in a statement released on Monday. They were being escorted out of the store when the fight broke out, police said in a statement released on Monday.

Trannies molesting kids in the restroom? Still okay.

Masks....pffft. If you scale the coronavirus up to where it was 1” in diameter, and scale up the mask equivalent, the holes in your mask are 85’ in diameter.

Walk right out of stores in Cali with up to $949.00 worth of goodies without being stopped.s But you have to wear a mask to do so.

This is now stolen, er borrowed.

A grandson was hired by a nationwide clothing retailer in a Cali store to stock in the early hours and during the lunch hour to stand by to monitor for theft. He was a member of his hs track team and wrestling team.

Besides being fast, he was able to quickly and easily bounce most people off a sidewalk or parking lot after catching them outside the store. He became friends of the mall cops and local cops.

Then, they passed the $949 rule. In that discount store you couldn’t carry out $949 clothing.

His store manager, mall cops and local cops told him not catch robbers as he could be charged with attacking and unauthorized imprisonment of the criminals.

The store put him inside,by the main exit with a smart phone/camera, to take pictures of the thieves leaving. Most dropped the clothes, a few gave him the finger as they were leaving with $900 worth of clothing.

Yup. Even if they are caught they are only charged with a misdemeanor.

The thing is, not wearing a mask is not even a misdemeanor, it's a store policy.

Hey! I think I just found a way around Gov. Nuisance's law. Make it a store policy to not shoplift.

Man, I should get paid big bucks to come up with these ingenious solutions.

Ask me politely to mask or leave and I’ll either mask or leave. But if you put a hand on me in the process, you may end up with a broken arm.

Its a rule...not a law.
On the other side, a company has the right to refuse service to anyone.
That is the correct response.

“First it was masks to buy food, then you must get a vaccine, then micro-chipping.”

Actually, if I understand things I’ve heard/read, the microchip is included in the vaccine. (Gates’ idea.)

People must start asserting their rights. According to the Americans With Disabilities Act if you have any condition that would prevent you from wearing a mask nobody can force you to and no one can even question you about it without becoming liable to a $75,000 fine for the first occurrence.

Inability to breathe correctly, claustrophobia, nervous tension, inability to communicate... what ever. No one can even ask once you invoke the ADA.

Look it up.

“a lot of people believe that wearing masks keeps them safe enough to shop.”

That’s my mom. She’s 96, with myasthenia gravis (auto immune disease), and she wears a mask when she goes out. She HATES it, and hates everything about this hoax-hype. But her doc suggests a mask. It’s hard to find them, so I just made a few to mail to her.

It was a city order being enforced. I shop in Target without a mask because I don’t live in crazy liberal landistan. And masks can be scientifically shown to be BAD but not scientifically shown to be good.

I am not a lawyer so this is not legal opinion, but I think there are two things to consider. On the one hand, stores like Target are privately owned and if they ask you to leave, you must or you can be trespassed and arrested. On the other hand, these stores are also considered a public place for many purposes because the public is invited in (you dont have to ask permission).

Security can ask people to leave, but strong arming should be left to police, who can be called if necessary by the store owner/manager if they want to trespass a patron. Physical aggression by the store employees would not be anymore appropriate than a patron asked to leave refusing to do so.

All that said, I was ‘told’ to put on a mask going into Walmart the other day. I responded by pointing out my neck gaitor which I was wearing but not over my face and proceeded into the store. If it had progressed further I would just leave, but I dont wear the thing over my face unless I feel its necessary. Its just around my neck to avoid confrontation at this point. I note that when I walk around the store, half the people wearing masks have them over the mouth but not the nose. What good is that???
