Nice graphic. Not sure I understand it — does it depict 6 different strains?

The cdc is good at wasting taxpayers’ money, getting high benefits and salaries and enjoying their kingly retirements. Can anyone name anything of substance and of benefit to society that have produced or accomplished?

Biogen Italian Conference strain clearly more powerful than California strain Look at Indiana numbers who got it versus California. Btw, Indiana doesnt rely on public transportation. Chicago does..dont know what strain they have but they are hit hard

That there are different strains with greater and lesser infectiousness and lethality seem to be the only reasonable explanation for what I see as the observable data.

I think New York's density plays a major role in receiving a heavy viral load to initiate infection.

Could possibly be the difference between living and dying.

Virus vaccines are of limited usefulness in the best of years. They are prepared from last year’s variant which will reappear as yet a new variant against which the new vax is only spottily effective.

Here we go again. Could, might, maybe.almost,if, and any other “fact” they can come up with to extend the panic.

Or it could actually be objective truth. I read that England has detected 12 different strains of the virus. Not surprising. Viruses mutate, and I think RNA viruses mutate faster than most.

I don't read news from the angle of "is this designed to induce panic?"

I'm not yet ready to be quite that cynical.

Also, all breathing air will die. It just takes 70 - 80 years.

The ‘new’ strain of the virus will appear around mid-September, just in time to force mail-in voting in blue states...

YOU! You! You just gave away the game plan. Well, like a "surprise" birthday party, try to act surprised when it happens.

Japanese hornets all of a sudden became renamed murder hornets.

I thought you were exaggerating, so I did a search for the term "murder hornets." I waded through seven pages of searches looking for an example of where this term was used in the past, and I didn't find a single one.

I did find references to "giant hornets" from 2015, but no old articles using the term "murder hornets."

So now I'm inclined to agree. This name was recently made up to make them seem more terrifying.

More infectious ≠ more virulent, often the opposite. Regardless, this is all the more reason to treat early with a more generic regimen like hydroxychloroquine-Zpak-Zn, which is not dependent on the subtleties of RNA- and protein sequences.

Weren't they just telling us how stable this virus was and that the vaccine would work for a long time?

The best vaccine out there is the one YOUR body prepares as soon as it encounters a virus in body. It is called anti-body.

But not all people can create equal amounts of anti-bodies. Those who are younger, and those who exercise regularly, and those who eat nutritious food, and those who don’t smoke or drink more than 1 drink a day, or those who get enough sleep every day, can create sufficient anti-bodies to vanquish most invading viruses, INCLUDING COVID-19.

That is why many people who get infected never get sick, they get well without symptoms, and they test positive for covid-19 anti-bodies presence.

I dont think anyone knows anything for sure

This is like some kind of Tom Clancy novel..and now a researcher on the verge of a discovery is murdered.

Waiting to see if his notes disappeared and the name of the perp

I think you are right.

Or if they do they are not sharing it with the rest of the class.

I am getting the same feeling that I did about the Mandalay Bay shooting. I do not know what the whole story is but what we are being told is not it.
