I like Glenn Reynolds’ idea about blue state bailouts. Only agree to a bailout if the rural areas are allowed to split off to form their own states. Upstate NY is pretty conservative as is non-coastal CA.

As I said in another thread, Leftist states (and I live in one) want to make sure no good crisis goes to waste, and are going to try to piggyback decades of exorbitant public employee pensions and government mismanagement on top of this pandemic crisis.

The same Mayor who demanded more ventilators and didn’t even need them. He ended up giving them away or trying to sell them off. The same Mayor who demanded more hospital beds for this expected ‘tidal wave’ of viral patients.
That huge hospital ship was provided by Trump.
It stood mostly empty until it left New York, only having treated about 180 patients.

Add all sorts of breathing illnesses to the Covid, over add the numbers, and never let a crisis go to waste.
MA has thousands less than here in FL, and then all of a sudden they go on lockdown we do not and their numbers are thousands more.
Dems playing politics to hurt Trump, get a bail oit and get mail in voting.
