Im hearing that Tom Cruise and Elon Musks Space X are working on a project with NASA that would be the first narrative feature film an action adventure to be shot in outer space. Its not a Mission: Impossible film and no studio is in the mix at this stage but look for more news as I get it. But this is real, albeit in the early stages of liftoff.
Mission: Impossible Fallout took a break, literally when he broke his ankle in a leap from one rooftop to the other and he also hung from a helicopter; he hung from the side of a jet plane during takeoff in Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation, and in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol he scaled the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai skyscraper, and executed stunts 123 floors up. He is meticulous in preparing these stunts he does, which are frightening just to watch.
There has never been a leading man (Jackie Chan might dispute this) who puts himself at risk as often as does Cruise, in the name of the most realistic action sequences possible. If he is successful shooting a project in Musks space ship, he will be alone in the Hollywood record books. Stay tuned.
One of the few people in Hollywood I like.
Amazed he is still doing his own stunts at his age.
If he shoots a movie in space, that will be really cool.
I feel sorry for the poor camera and microphone guys.
Maybe he’ll find L. Ron Hubbard out there. Space Org.
The previous LRH billion year contract Org only got a "C"
He will have to close his mouth instead of going around with it half open all the time.
Give my regards to Xenu
That’s where is Elon musk’s mind is right now :-) he tweeted that he is going to have no possessions and has put his houses on the market. He wiped out billions of his own stock by saying it’s overpriced. he made a good statement about fascism but the guy is losing his mind
Won’t he have to come out of the closet, first?
He’s planning on taking a one way trip to Mars
If this GUARANTEES that Tom Cruise is sent to the Moon and never returns, I’m all in! ;)
The dream is always the same.
The thing is that CGI is so good there is no need to go in space to make a movie.
I have seen Star Trek and Star Wars : )
And hire Harrison Ford to be the pilot?
“And hire Harrison Ford to be the pilot?”
LOL! The Interplanetary Aviation Administration has already pulled his ticket! The Millennium Falcon is in dry-dock until the suspension is lifted.
If you stand on a box in space, does it make you taller ?
