Encounter?
Is that what they call animal attacks these days?
domestic quarrel gone bad?
Don’t know much about alligators as I keep my distance because they live at the end of my street.
It's terrible this happened to her.
Yep. When you watch too much Crocodile Hunter and too much Swamp People you start to forget that fact...
Don’t know firsthand but I hear that they can be God’s solution to child molesters.
No doubt she’s being tested for covid to make sure they have the correct cause of death.
She had been coated in sardine oil.
In case y'all didn't know, it's gator breeding season down here.
So, you know, maybe he had an itch
They make nice luggage and boots.
Obviously the alligator did not maintain social distancing guidelines..will the coroner label this death death by corona
Poor woman thought it was a Louis Vuitton bag someone dropped on the shore.
RIP for the lady...and condolences to her friends and family
Amusing Story Circa 1958.
I was just a 11 year old kid. I loved the swamp at night. My adult neighbor often took me to the swamp at night in a pirogue which is a dug out canoe. We mostly hunted frogs etc. We only used a frog gig or a 22 rifle for other game.
My adult friend shot a small alligator about 5 feet long and we put it in the canoe and continued hunting. He was only stunned. A few minutes later he came to life and was really pissed off. My friend went over one side of the pirogue and my self the other side. The little alligator wanted the same thing just to get away. It was most amusing. We had all the frogs in our tow sack and did not lose one of them.
The swamp was a paradise for a young kid with the guidance of my adult mentor.
The swamp will kill you if you do not understand it. It will provide you if you do understand it. It is a beautiful place where politics are of no importance when you are in the swamp!
I love the swamp. It will also kill you or foes if they do not understand the swamp. It is a really a beautiful place of which we are privileged to be a part of. When you go into the swamp it is not a question of if you encounter a snake are reptile that can kill you. Unless you are blind you will. Just leave them alone unless they are an immediate and clear danger. Just leave them alone.
I no longer live in South Louisiana swamp land but now central Texas on 9 acres of land. I have rattlesnakes on my land. I do not kill them with one exception. When they are in residence with my dogs in the fenced in backyard I most reluctantly must kill them. This is rare but necessary about every year or two.
Chalk up one more for Covid19
I’m sure it was counted as Covid death.
Can this not be marked down as a Covid-19 death? It would be helpful to the ‘believers’ if it could.
And sometimes the bull wins...
