Q is the result of the sacrifices and commitment of countless patriots to win back our captured country from the Deep State and achieve the transformation President Trump promised in this campaign video. President Trump has said the awakening of the public is key to this transformation.
Q describes this awakening as follows:

"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.

Why am I not at all shocked nor surprised by this?

I agree with just about everything you just said. Except the this part. If you take out the word Xi, I’d be in total agreement.
How are you gonna deny the strife between USA and China prior to the flu. How you gonna deny China’s aggressive actions in their zone of influence? How you gonna ignore all the Q posts regarding China over the last two years. How you gonna deny all the evidence of American politicians under the influence of the Chinese, starting with Feinstein and Biden. And so much more.
Xi is derp and there is no doubt about it. I do understand the nature of the derp state. And I also know that Putin is on our side in this. but not Xi. He and the heathens are the true enemy, and they, in conjunction with our domestic derps and what’s left of the WW derps, conspired and are still conspiring to win the shadow war by first working on this particular bio-weapon together, releasing it upon THE WORLD, and subsequently working on the psyop to bring down the WORLD economy, not just ours.

I agree 188%. If the virus got going by the chinese lablady and block of dry ice, which I’ve read before, or some by some other means, the CCP gov knew about it and was a party to it. If not, the woman would have been disappeared, tortured and her organs removed by now. The CCP wants the US to remain its lapdog and even the deaths of some millions of (to them excess) people is worth it to them. And the intense Hong Kong protests were conveniently stopped by the virus.
Things like this have consequences. Chiner will now go on a frenetic search to find the spies and double agent(s). Can’t imagine they would publish that if we still had vulnerable agents. If we were at war we would LOVE to publish something that got all their spooks runnin’ around cappin’ one another ‘n this ‘n that. And whatnot.

From what I can see, in my limited manner, is the [Y] connecting dots to a series of things related.
ie. *chrome and Kung Flu.
I haven’t gone deep in all the drops to see what else might be connected to that particular wing of the cabal.
