Its just the flu, bro.
Back in day 13 of the thread we discussed Healthiness differentiated social distancing. If you are vulnerable maybe you should socially distance but if you are healthy then you should be out and about. This is the proper way to get herd immunity. This way the healthy people build immunity and then, after contagious period passes, they cant pass CV on to the vulnerable. Instead we are doing the opposite - protect the children at all costs and let the people in nursing homes get sick. Even Sweden has said that their method is great but they needed to do more to protect the nursing homes.
Trump says he wants schools to reopen this year - this makes one think someone is mentioning herd immunity to him. Just getting political for a minute - if school open in Augst/September for the first time then we will have a large spike in cases (asymptomatic, panic inducing positive cases) right at election time and this could constitute the second wave which will cause panic. Opening school this school year is best for the vulnerable and best for preventing a panic-inducing second wave in the fall.
Lets open things up!
Chuckee Cheese is open today where he lives.
“If the immunity to COVID-19 is fleeting, why would any nation look to develop a vaccine?”

You are making your post up de novo.
There is no FULL knowlege of SARS_CoV-2 on the human
immune system(s) but it is growing quickly.
There is evidence of reinfections, and it is early.
Want more proof? Coronavirus account for 7 to 30%
of colds. You got them more than once already.
the hydroxychloroquine is not that impressive in those sick evough to be hospitalized. we need every arrow in the quiver
You are right. thats why there are so many hydroxychloroquine trials. UV blood therapy is not ready for prime time and has a lot of issues. But its all about hiding cheap therapy. Do you guys ever take the tinfoil off?
My concern is that its effectiveness is being downplayed because nobody has any money to make off of it.
I believe that’s a reasonable presumption.
Go back under the bed. Does your keyboard fit?
I can tell you we used it on every icu and a good deal of hospitalized patients even before Trump called it out. It is being widely used. U fortunately its just not that impressive in the sicker patients. We need to develop everything we can. It may very well be there is one treatment for outpatients another for i patients. And dont forget well over 90% recover with no intervention

My best friend has had 54 treatments of Extra Coporeal photo phereses for his cutaneous lymphoma.
That is good news. It's good to have a variety of tools in the shed with which to fight this.
I could believe that...
As the virus winds down, the fascists seem to ramping up control (extending deadlines, requiring masks to shop). Interesting...
Of course...KA-CHING! $$$$$$$$$$$$!
Half of all the deaths are within commuting distance of NYC. Of the remaining 30,000, at least half seem to be in nursing homes - based on multiple reports around the country. That leaves 15,000 deaths among 300 million people.
Protect the nursing homes. Quarantine NYC. And let everyone else GO!
How much does Remdesivir cost per dose OUTSIDE of the US?
And the biggest mistake people make about healthcare is refusing to accept that it’s a bidness.
Nothing wrong with that as capitalism works far better than anything else man has ever tried. But we should be clear-eyed about it.
If doctors and nurses were told that there would be a cap on their salaries, to equal 10% above poverty levels in their locale, how many would go through with the schooling and training to serve the public.
Capitalism works.
Yup. One of the biggest problems with Britain’s NHS is that mediocre salaries yield mediocre doctors.
