Kentucky is a very poor state, and poor Mitch is reduced to sending pleas to New Yorkers to help with his fund raising (I get an email from him every morning asking for assistance).

Plea says “Heartbreaking news,” “Fell short of our fund raising goals,” “Democrats are clobbering us in fund raising,” etc. etc.

Wonder how he’ll make out with that? Maybe the McConnell campaign should be allowed to declare bankruptcy?
