A China-owned food company has started closing down slaughterhouses and processing plants across the United States, putting America's meat supply in jeopardy.The U.S. meat supply is now under threat due to workers at facilities being diagnosed with COVID-19, leading to closures across the country.

Oh, I agree with the small business thing. Here we have more small business than large. The stinking hospital employs the most people in the entire county since Fort McClellan closed down and the Anniston Army Depot has cut back so drastically. Closing McClellan cost this county over 5,000 civilian jobs, not counting all the military that left and cost the money they spent in the surrounding cities, buying homes, renting, etc. Badly destroyed the economy around here. The population of the county keeps falling. The mall lost Sears. City next county over, the mall is nearly closed down. Lost Sears and Penny’s. So, small business is the backbone, leg bones, arm bones and brain of jobs in this county. Without them, this county is going to be in massive hurt. All the smart kids are getting their educations and moving out of the county in search of jobs and a future. It ain’t here anymore unless you are going to work at Walmart or Taco Bell!!!

Yeah, I can't believe what I'm reading. Now nuking the chineses, that makes more sense given that they launched a bio-economic war on us. The mainlanders must pay the price.
Lets clarify.
There are alternatives to government involvement. But in many ways those are long gone as one listen “with ears”. The government IS the economy. Everyone expects the govt to solve this, why? Have we even heard of letting the market place solve the problem for many years?
One alternative is the market place. Let the market place, solve the problem, much better than government. Japan bought all our stuff, we bought it back cents on the dollar. The Arabs bought all our stuff, we bought it back cents on the dollar. etc, etc.
Let the market, buy it from a distressed seller. We don’t need the govt involved.
History has lessons.

How about free market solutions, transferring production to other businesses and bankrupting the Chicom owned business??
Much of Asian seafood or fish is farmed in lagoons full of toxic waste and/or human feces.
