A few things -
1. When is AG Barr going to start defending protesters? He seems to be all talk. At least his talk might deter some tyrants, but an actual defense of a person not compliant with a lockdown would do good and drive the left crazy. I would like to see Barr defend my favorite football player, and fellow Flubro, Tom Brady for his infraction.
2. Death Count - I am currently predicting a fake CV death count approaching 80k by the end of December. I have said 10% of the deaths are real CV deaths but it could go as high as 20%. Russia, it seems to me, seems to be using some more common sense wizen attributing cause of death.
3. Sweden’s deaths will be, by design, front end loaded. So many healthy people are getting this asymptomatic infection there will be herd immunity there fast and they won’t get a second wave. Sweden’s approach is best so far.
So to summarize what I have said above into Fearper language, as they like to visit us on this thread - “Flubros hate Trump and want to see more people die. They want the USA to turn into a cross between Sweden and Russia”.
We agree to both points, open the country and sanction China. I disagree with impimp in that C-19 isn’t a seasonal flu. It’s a new Chinese virus with as yet no available immunity. Furthermore, the potential to mutate is possible, so precautions are completely advisable. I’m totally open to new information as it develops.

What did I miss because what I saw that romanesq wrote is something I think 95% of FR would agree with. Re-read your attack and then please tell us what romanesq wrote that deserved it.

As in low level labs could be just a locked room in a facility to do random blood testing vs a high level facility with access controls, perimeter fencing, isolated from other buildings, multiple air locks ect.
Level 4 labs only handle the most dangerous viruses.

When we look back on this year, we're going to be amazed at how healthy we all were in the middle of a "pandemic." Deaths due to heart disease, cancer, nominal flu, etc. - all down significantly. :-/
I've been charting US cases for weeks now, using data pulled from CDC going back into January when the official case count was 1. Hey, I'm an engineer, a bit of a math guy, I like graphs and I'm stuck at home teleworking so...
I've noticed a couple of interesting phenomenon. For weeks the number of cases was more or less steadily increasing - as you would expect. There were some minor variations but in general the numbers were trending consistently up. Then about 1 April new cases per day hit the mid 20 thousands or so and more or less leveled off. There were a couple of blips above that, and we eased up into the low 30s for a couple of days but the rate of increase had obviously fallen off significantly.
The thing is, here it is 3 weeks later and the numbers haven't really started back down yet. We're still in the mid to upper 20k range of new cases per day. Other Countries have exhibited a significant roll-off in new cases. Yet ours are remaining high / level... Maybe there's a valid reason or reasons for it. Or maybe there's some other pressure on the system to keep the numbers high, keep this thing going, at least on paper - or in this case on the spreadsheets for as long as they can milk it.
For a big scary "pandemic" it still seems odd that I don't know anyone who has died from it. I don't know anyone who knows anyone who has died from it. I don't know anyone who has it or had it. I don't know anyone who knows anyone who has it or had it. I don't have a huge circle of friends, but I'm no hermit either. I have family and friends scattered across 5 states. My project team is over 100 people scattered across 3 states. You'd think for a "pandemic" I wouldn't have to play 6 degrees of separation to try to find someone with it. Playing that game I'm more likely to run into Kevin Bacon before a CV patient.
The ChiCom Virus is the enemy of Americans.

Without the science, any report of “asymptomatic and contagious” is anecdotal.

Last night Trump, as he done before emphasized that perhaps more than 2 million more would have died if he did not do what he did (based on the advice of people the ‘flubros’ consider to be Satan) and continues to do.
Everything these ‘flubros’ post here would have to indicate that any other man saying what Trump is saying would make him the biggest fool on the planet (to them). Yet I’m guessing they will be voting for him come November and still seem to support him.
They were and are wrong but will never admit it so the only the option left for them psychologically is to verbally eviscerate anyone that tries to deny their illusion.
It’s sad.

My cousin, after several days of feeling under the weather with some moderate symptoms matching the WuHan Flu, and at the coaxing of his wife, got tested and learned a day or two later that he was ‘positive” for COVID-19. By the time he got the results, he was 10 days into his illness and was already feeling better.
He said that his fever rose slightly just in the evenings, just over 100, but his temperature was normal in the mornings including the morning he got tested (he lied and said it was 100 or so, because they weren’t going to give the test to asymptomatic people at the time).
Anyway, he more than finished his 14 days of self-quarantine, kept the wife quarantined also, and is doing just fine today. Had some mild breathing troubles initially, but that has subsided.
I wouldn’t call it asymptomatic, but he was certainly not deathly ill either. For the record, he’s in his mid-60s.
He is the only person I know that even has tested positive. He’s anxious to help out with antibody testing and such, but only on a voluntary basis.
I hope so given the dangerous place America is in, but I wouldn't bet on it. There is still a weird group of malcontents who think they know better than we Trump diehards.

My reading of the tea leaves:
State and local govs are staring at empty coffers as the shutdown has basically slowed tax revenue to a trickle.
They’re going to come crawling to Uncle Sugar for funds.
Trump wields a veto pen. He’ll have them right where he wants them.
Cuomo went and met with Trump yesterday and then popped-up in Buffalo saying there was basically no reason why upstate NY could not start reopening. Looks like the Godfather made him an offer he couldn’t refuse.
He could not impose sanctions right away because decades of globalism have left us too dependent on the ChiComs for medical supplies.
I think that day is coming though.

And, did his wife protract COVID-19?
Was she symptomatic or asymptomatic.
Was her quarantine “true”; she stayed at home and inside having no contact with anyone else?
Finally, was she MONITORED/TRACKED by Health Officials during her quarantine for the above parameters?
