Ankle monitors ordered for Kentucky residents refusing quarantine after coronavirus exposure

Despite Governor Andy Beshear ordering all Kentucky residents to stay at home to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus, some in Louisville are reportedly refusing to self-quarantine.

As a response, Jefferson Circuit Court judge Angela Bisig is ordering ankle monitors for those who were exposed to the coronavirus but who won’t stay at home.

CNN reports that Bisig ordered an individual identified as D.L. to wear a global positioning device for the next two weeks. D.L is reportedly living with someone who tested positive for the coronavirus, as well as someone who is a presumptive case.

They ought to put one of those chip thingies in the RT hand or forehead. I heard it makes everything easier (for the AntiChrist)

Ehhhh - I don’t have a problem with this one.

If you tested positive you need to quarantine for 14 days. This is far different than the blanket house arrests where everyone is presumed “guilty”.

Getting “collared” is a bit harsh (and a bit worthless as the government won’t find out you’ve left until after you’ve been gone for several hours) but if you’re gonna be an idiot and claim you’re still going out...

“In this case I support this.”

If C19 death rate ends up around the same as for flu, then do the same for regular flu sufferers from now on, too? HIV? TB?

Or is there a death rate trigger level for doing such actions?

Accused fentanyl dealer who tested positive for coronavirus living at senior home

An accused fentanyl dealer who was released from jail last week despite testing positive for the coronavirus has reportedly been staying with his mother in a senior-living home in Salem and the Essex County district attorney intends to petition the courts to have him locked back up.

Eric Jalbert, 31, was being held in jail while awaiting arraignment on fentanyl trafficking charges. Judge Kathleen McCarthy-Neyman on Tuesday ordered Jalbert — who tested positive for the coronavirus on April 4 — to be released from jail to await trial at home, citing concerns with the coronavirus which spreads particularly fast in jails and other congregate living facilities.

Ankle monitors are so 20th century. Why bother? You’re carrying a monitor with you most of the time. And paying handsomely for the privilege.

Different issue - if the death rate is the same as flu then government can’t do this going forward.

Though I agree this plays in all sorts of other issues - not just diseases but red flag laws.

Look at these collaborators:

Guess they never heard about the Constitution back in 1918—or maybe you never studied your history.

History is a hobby of mine.
Of course I have studied the Spanish Flu.
This is NOTHING like Spanish Flu nor was it ever going to be it.

Have you heard of “Sweating Fever?”
Just a quiz, not trying to be a smart a**.
:-)

We are very, very close to allowing politicians to create a state ruled by Martial Law.
They are already charging people for swimming in the ocean...driving down the street.

The GOP ran a RINO in a big FU to Trump.

So a Dem sneaked in.

This is why all RINOs should be tarred and feathered and cast out of the party and any and all positions of trust or influence.

Apologize, this is for infected quarantined patients. At one time would have been sequestered in TB sanitarium.

We are become nothing more than renegade sheep to those who sit atop their lofty thrones. Leadership does not imprison those who disagree with it. It seeks to find out why they disagree. yeah, right.

Do you honestly think we should have just did what Sweden did? I guess we will never find out how it would have been but it’s an interesting study.
