A federal judge in South Florida has ordered a Colombia-based church to stop selling an industrial bleach marketed as a treatment for the new coronavirus and other ailments.
Judge Kathleen Williams entered a temporary injunction Friday halting Genesis II Church of Health and Healing's sale of Miracle Mineral Solution in the U.S.
Genesis sells MMS through its websites, according to a U.S. Justice Department civil complaint filed Thursday in the Southern District of Florida. Prosecutors say Genesis markets the solution as a treatment for COVID-19, as well as Alzheimer's, autism, brain cancer, HIV/AIDS and multiple sclerosis.

“Websites selling Miracle Mineral Solution describe the product as a liquid that is 28 percent sodium chlorite in distilled water. Product directions instruct people to mix the sodium chlorite solution with a citric acid, such as lemon or lime juice, or another acid before drinking. In many instances, the sodium chlorite is sold with a citric acid activator. When the acid is added, the mixture becomes chlorine dioxide, a powerful bleaching agent.
Both sodium chlorite and chlorine dioxide are the active ingredients in disinfectants and have additional industrial uses. They are not meant to be swallowed by people.”
Sodium Chlorite with or without additives first.
Drinking causes problems.
Ever drink tap water? Well guess what, its disinfected with chlorine dioxide. Clue, for self righteous idiots.
My tap water is not. It comes from a 225 deep well. Better tasting than city water and a lot of people drink bottled water. Dont try telling me drinking bleach is a good idea. Pedal that shit else where.
You can still buy the good pool shock for making bleach, so it isnt that bad.
Using 10% solution Clorox 6%. Dipping my hands in it several times a day. Pretty sure its killing every microbe.
I have a housekeeper. Every single one Ive hired has shown up with a big bottle of purple Fabulosa. I tell them no, I cant stand the smell of the stuff. Lol. For some reason they all love it.

Mixing the concoction with citric acid converts it into chlorine dioxide, which the FDA describe as a powerful bleaching agent. In fact, paper mills often use chlorine dioxide to bleach paper, and water companies use the chemical to treat drinking water.
The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) set a maximum level of 0.8 milligrams (mg) per liter, but just a single drop of MMS can contain 38 mg.
Individuals who have taken MMS have supplied reports to the FDA. The subsequent list of potential side effects includes severe vomiting and diarrhea, life threatening hypotension (low blood pressure), and liver failure.
Worryingly, some MMS labels claim that vomiting and diarrhea are positive signs that the mixture is working to heal peoples ailments.

Chlorine dioxide is not a cure or treatment for medical ailments, including but not limited to autism, HIV, malaria, hepatitis viruses, influenza, common colds, and cancer. Claims that the ingestion of chlorine dioxide, often advertised as Miracle Mineral Solution or MMS, will cure these or other ailments are false. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advises MMS should not be consumed.
Is chlorine dioxide a miracle cure for numerous diseases and illnesses?
No. Claims that chlorine dioxide is a treatment or cure for medical ailments such as autism, HIV, malaria, hepatitis viruses, influenza, common colds, cancer, or other diseases/ailments are not backed by science. Consumption of chlorine dioxide solutions, such as MMS, can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and severe dehydration. These products should not be consumed or given to someone to consume. The sale of these products as miracle cures is dangerous and has resulted in criminal convictions.

Remember that it is the dose that makes the poison. Yes, chlorine dioxide is used to disinfect drinking water but not in the high concentrations found in MMS. It is also used for other disinfecting purposes but not intended to be drunk in high concentrations nor is there any proof it cures any disease and in fact is dangerous.
Well I would never use it anyway. 8>)
That can't be stressed enough which is why calling it a "miracle" is dishonest advertising at best. Water isn't a "miracle" either selling any product as such would be dishonest.
Would I ever take chlorine dioxide?
no, I can see no benefit in killing my good and bad bacteria in the digestive system. That would weaken my immunity.
Why there is a law against selling it makes no sense to me.
Government shouldn't be our big brother telling us that is "to much"
So I can cook up a batch of crystal meth in my kitchen, bottle it and sell it as an all-natural and perfectly safe cure for COVID-19 then? Could I also say it cures AIDS, autism, all forms of cancer and acne, you know, free markets and all? I lean somewhat libertarian but geez.
Government should be used as a guide not an enforcer when it comes to ethics
