Why there is a law against selling it makes no sense to me. Government shouldn't be our big brother telling us that is "to much"

So I can cook up a batch of crystal meth in my kitchen, bottle it and sell it as an all-natural and perfectly safe cure for COVID-19 then? Could I also say it cures AIDS, autism, all forms of cancer and acne, you know, free markets and all? I lean somewhat libertarian but geez.
